From the moment Democrat Senator Kamala Harris (CA) announced her candidacy for president, she’s been busy pandering for votes. Unfortunately for Harris, she’s learning the hard way that voters don’t easily forget the proposals you’ve made, even if you retract them after you realize you’ve made a colossal mistake.

In January, Breitbart News reported  about how less than 24 hours after Democrat Senator Kamala Harris called for eliminating private health insurance and replacing it with a single-payer, government-run “Medicare for All” program, she backtracked on her position. Harris inflamed the controversy in January, during a CNN town hall in which she suggested that she would eliminate private health insurance for millions of Americans and replace it with a “Medicare for All” socialized medicine program.

“It is inhumane to make people go through a system where they cannot literally receive the benefit of what medical science can offer,” Harris said on Monday night. “Because some insurance company has decided it doesn’t meet their bottom line in terms of their profit motivation.”

Less than 24 hours later, a Harris adviser and Harris national press secretary Ian Sams said Harris remains willing to back health insurance proposals that would not eliminate private health insurance. The Harris adviser said the backlash from Republicans serves as “good trouble” for the California Democrat.

Today, while visiting a nursing home (likely as part of a public relations stunt) Harris was ambushed by one of the residents sitting alone in a wheelchair. Unfortunately for Harris, she wasn’t about to let her off the hook on her single-payer health care proposal.

In the video posted below by conservative Ryan Saavedra, the elderly woman in a wheelchair can be seen raising her hand to ask Harris if she can ask her a question.

Senator Harris seemed eager to answer her question, as she scooted over to pose next to the elderly woman in the wheelchair. As Harris leaned over to get closer, the nursing home resident asked, “I understand that you are advocating health care for everyone.” Harris, believing that she scored a supporter, replied, “Yes, of course.” That’s when things got uncomforable for the pandering Demcorat. Harris answered, “Yes m’am,” as the elderly woman, who seemed to be unfazed by Harris, shot back, “Who’s gonna pay for it?” The Democrat senator replied, “Well, we’re gonna pay for it, because right now, let me tell ya something, we’re all paying  for health care for everyone,” the nursing home resident interrupted Harris, telling her, “No, we’re not!” Harris continued, “and it’s in the emergency room.” “Leave our health care system alone! We don’t want you to mess with it,”the elderly woman told her.
