Kellyanne Conway is one smart cookie who is very quick on her feet like her co-worker Sarah Sanders. The interview below with CNN’s Brian Stelter is a very quick back and forth where Conway chews Stelter up and spits him out.
CNN host Brian Stelter told White House counselor Kellyanne Conway Sunday that he didn’t vote for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.
Conway responded, “You probably didn’t think she needed your help.”
Conway teased Stelter, “I’m sorry, did you just say something that a lot of people on your side on the aisle are not willing to say?”
“I’m not on a side of an aisle. That’s an offensive remark,” Stelter responded.

“Well, tell America. Did you vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump? How did your wife vote? Tell America,” she shot back.
“I did not vote for president. I left that spot blank on the ballot that day. But, it’s not appropriate for you to go around asking people who they voted for.”
THE COMMENTS BEGIN AT ABOUT THE 5:50 POINT:
Conway asking Stelter how his wife voted is also a subtle jab at the network.
Last month, Conway appeared on CNN and was asked by Dana Bash about her husband’s negative tweets about President Trump.
“It’s fascinating that CNN would go there but very good for the whole world to have just witnessed that it is now fair game what people’s–how people’s spouses and significant others may differ with them. I’m really surprised and gratified to see that,” Conway responded.
“This ought to be fun moving forward, Dana. We are going to talk about other people’s spouses and significant others because they either work at the White House or CNN? Are we going to do that?”
Conway also used her appearance to subtly poke fun at CNN’s ratings. When asked about Trump’s relationship with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Conway said, “Sean is running the highest rated show on cable, and I think there’s a reason for that. He’s providing information that people can’t find anywhere else. Sean would have low ratings if he was talking about everything else everybody’s talking about.”
