House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy pushed back on John Boehner’s criticism of the Republican Party during the Trump administration, saying he is proud of the party and believes it has “changed for the better.”

“CHANGED FOR THE BETTER” IS A HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT!

McCarthy appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” to discuss several issues, including President Donald Trump’s most recent pardon of Dinesh D’Souza and economic accomplishments during the Trump administration.

Host Dana Bash played a clip of Boehner from a Thursday night policy conference where he said, “There is no Republican party. There’s a Trump party. The Republican party is kind of taking a nap somewhere.” Bash asked McCarthy to respond to his comments and say whether he thought the Republican party has “changed for the better.”

“Well, I would think it changed for the better because let’s first look at the facts, Dana,” McCarthy said. “We’re at 3.8 percent unemployment. This ties a 50-year low in America. African American and women are at the lowest in unemployment. Unemployment claims are at a 44-year low. The G.I. Bill is now no longer 15 years or you lose it, it’s now for a lifetime.”

McCarthy continued by listing off other accomplishments dealing with the opioid crisis, the military, and human trafficking.

Former swamp King John Boehner opened his mouth and removed all doubt he’s NOT a Republican but just like other swamp creatures in D.C. who  are Republicans in name only…Boehner was the keynote speaker at the Mackinac Policy Conference in Michigan.

Notice how Boehner talks out of both sides of his mouth. Buried under all of the insults is just one positive mention of the incredible job President Trump is doing. The leftist media picked up on the quote below but conveniently left out anything positive. Why would Boehner not praise President Trump’s incredible job? It’s because he’s a RINO and always has been!

“Donald Trump, who I know well, was one of my supporters. When I was speaker and I was having a rough week, Trump would call me, pat me on the back, cheer me up. We played a lot of golf together,” Boehner said. “But president? Really? I never quite saw this. . . . But the guy ran, the guy won.”

BOEHNER EVEN TOOK A SWIPE ATG MELANIA: Not funny!

Boehner joked that even Trump himself didn’t think he’d win. “I think Donald Trump promised Melania that he would not win. She didn’t have to worry about ever living in the White House. It’s probably why she doesn’t look real happy every day. But, well, maybe one reason,” he said.

Boehner was an ineffective Speaker of the House who let Obama run all over him. WHY SHOULD WE LISTEN TO HIM NOW?
