A controversial California law that will punish doctors for spreading ‘misinformation’ on the Covid-19 pandemic is set to take place tomorrow in California.

Doctors in California are regulated by a Medical Board.

Under California’s new law, they could be subject to discipline by the Board if they give advice to patients or have beliefs that differ from the establishment narrative on Covid-19 on issues like vaccines and alternative treatments such as Ivermectin.

While the law expands penalties for behavior such as spreading Covid-19 misinformation, another law will lessen societal penalties for ex-convicts in the state.

The law will seal the criminal records of hundreds of thousands of criminals in the state.

Finally, a third law set to take effect in the New Year will allow nurses to perform first-trimester abortions without the presence of a licensed doctor.

The Gateway Pundit Reports

“This law allows doctors to face discipline for spreading so-called misinformation or disinformation about COVID-19—including information about vaccine effectiveness and other treatments—and categorizes such as unprofessional conduct.

Physicians and surgeons are regulated by the Medical Board. Under current law, the board is required to act against any licensed doctor who is charged with unprofessional conduct.

At least 225,000 Californians with prior convictions or arrests will be able to have their records automatically sealed from criminal background checks due to this new law.

While the records will be automatically sealed once people complete their sentence and go four years without new arrests, others will now be able to petition a judge to have theirs sealed.”
