Attorney Robert Barnes is standing up for the Covington students by representing them pro-bono. He came out immediately after the incident in D.C. and promised to help them.

He’s already gone after Congresswoman Ihlan Omar for her libelous statements on Twitter (see below).

Andrea Mitchell also got a warning from Barnes (see below).

He was on Fox & Friends this morning to discuss his effort to protect the students and warn media and others to retract or be sued:

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has been a controversial figure since her election but her latest tweet might be her most destructive:

Omar jumped into the Covington student controversy with a libelous tweet that the layer representing the students clapped back at with a promise to sue her (see below).

-The boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose & yelled “it’s not rape if you enjoy it”
-They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants
-Sandmann’s family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology

She was responding to President Trump’s tweet supporting the teens:

Nick Sandmann and the students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News and how evil it can be. They have captivated the attention of the world, and I know they will use it for the good – maybe even to bring people together. It started off unpleasant, but can end in a dream! – PDJT

Robert Barnes has promised to represent the student pro bono. He tweeted out a demand that Omar retract her tweet:

Barnes means business and has targeted others like Andrea Mitchell (see below) for their slanderous comments about the students.

Go get ’em, Mr. Barnes!

Barnes is for the “underdog”, according to his website:

From small-town East Ridge, Tennessee, to the elite environs of the Eastern Ivy league, Robert Barnes walks among the humble and the haughty. Traveling from the everyday to the esteemed, representing clients fighting for their civil rights and celebrities taking on the IRS, Barnes heeds the advice of his newspaper-throwing father, Walter, who was fond of reminding, “Never judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes”.

He explained on Twitter why he is helping the kids:

Barnes tweeted out a demand that Mitchell deletes her libelous tweet:

“This is libel, Andrea. Retract & correct”

Barnes is standing up for the Covington students and had offered pro bono representation for them:

Andrea Mitchell might want to take the tweet down ASAP. It’s about time someone did something about the media’s fake news and malicious intent toward conservatives.

Mitchell is a known political hack who openly supported and promoted Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. We’re hoping Barnes holds Mitchell’s feet to the fire on this and on others who’ve refused to issue apologies for their comments against the students at Covington.

By now, most media people have retracted and/or apologized:

While the leftist media is still pushing the fake news that the confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial between Catholic School Students and a Native American activist was the all the fault of the students, anyone with half a brain who watches the video below will see that the Native-American activist instigated a confrontation and the students were just standing and watching.

Vanity Fair’s Michael Knowles made a great point when he broke down the three groups who were at the Lincoln Memorial:

3 groups:

1. Catholic teens minding their own business on a class trip

2. Native American demonstrators (incl. Nathan Phillips) march up, beat drums, push into center of student group, call teens “beasts”

3. Black Israelites, who condemn whites as devils

Who’s in the wrong?

The left has jumped on the fake news about the Catholic students and is running with it. A protest is scheduled in front of the Kentucky Catholic school even though it’s clear to anyone who watches the video that the teens did nothing wrong:

Matthew Schmitz posted the video on Twitter with a call for apologies from those who condemned the students:

https://twitter.com/matthewschmitz/status/1086994001801158656

Many apologies from those who just saw part of the video are pouring in:

Meghan McCain and others like Robby Soave of Reason realized the incident was nothing like it had been portrayed in the media:

“These kids are owed a big apology.”

“I jumped the gun” – Robert P. George, Princeton Professor and former Chairman, U.S. Commission on Int. Religious Freedom

Conservatives who had condemned the students overwhelmingly came out to apologize. Leftist anchor Jake Tapper came out with a tweet that included a quote from an article that refutes the claim by Mr. Phillips that he was harassed by the students.

This is the second big misstep by the media in just a few days except this is one that is harming children. The media should be held accountable for this colossal mistake.
