Is there a single Christian holiday or designated day of celebration that the Left has not yet defined as “offensive?” Saying “Merry Christmas” offends the left because…well, obviously—Christ. Celebrating “Ramadan” in the classroom, however, is a cultural experience for the students. Columbus Day has been deemed “offensive,” by the Left and has been renamed “Indigenous People’s Day” in many major cities across America. Independence Day is offensive to many on the left because it reminds them of the oppression so many people have been forced to endure in America.

History books have been rewritten, so as not to offend anyone. Historical statues are being torn down, buildings are being renamed and awards that were given to people the left now deems “controversial,” are being revoked. Christian based organizations like the Girl Scouts are being hijacked by America’s #1 abortion mill, Planned Parenthood. The Boy Scouts of America are being forced to allow girls to join. To hell with history. To hell with the truth. To hell with Christianity and those who dare to defend their Christian values or beliefs—the Left is in charge, and we’re just supposed to sit back and take it, because, god forbid, we offend anyone.

Christianity doesn’t matter to the Left. The truth doesn’t matter to the Left. What matters most, is making sure no one is offended.

One primary school is doing their part to destroy a beautiful tradition of dedicating one day to honoring our mother’s. Instead of celebrating the love and sacrifices a mother makes for her children and family throughout the year, they’ve decided that since some people don’t have traditional families or a mother in the home, it’s best to do away with it. Instead of celebrating Mother’s Day, they’ve decided to focus on the minority of people who might be offended by watching others celebrate their moms on one day of the year.

The Daily Mail Reports – A school has renamed a Mother’s Day stall to avoid upsetting any children without a mother.

Brunswick East Primary School in Melbourne will call the stand an ‘appreciation stall’ instead.

In previous years, the school has hosted a fundraising stall where children could buy Mother’s Day merchandise such as mugs, trinkets, candles, and soaps.

But staff have decided to change it because some families were offended – and now children can buy gifts for any special person in their life.

Principal Janet Di Pilla explained the change in a newsletter to parents, reported the Herald Sun.

She wrote: ‘I am sorry that in the past we have offended some members of our community and I hope that this acknowledgment goes some way to address any hurt which has occurred in the past.

‘I sincerely hope that this change in name will show that we as a community recognize that our families are not made up of any particular combination of people and that we no longer subscribe to a binary world.’

Last year, ABC News did their part to make transgender moms with transgender kids seem normal. With millions of moms who deserve recognition for their selfless acts of kindness and generosity, ABC News chose to feature Eric Maison, a parent of five who transitioned from female to male alongside his transgender daughter, is sharing how he and his family will celebrate Mother’s Day this year.

“The kids do still call me ‘Mom,’ but sometimes they joke and say ‘Daddy Mom,’ or ‘Mommy Dad,’ which I think is absolutely adorable,” Maison of New Baltimore, Michigan, told ABC News last week.

“Ellen, my 10-year-old, asked me if instead of Mother’s Day, would I prefer to celebrate Father’s Day,” Maison added. “I said to her that I will always be her mother, a title which I am honored to have and that I would love to still celebrate Mother’s Day if she was OK with that. She smiled and said, ‘Well, duh, I just wanted to make sure you were OK with it.'”

“I have the best kids in the world, I really do,” Maison said.

 

This is our world today. Slowly, but surely, the left is chipping away at every value and core principle we hold dear. They’ve distorted history, they’ve blurred the lines of gender and gender identity, they’ve removed every trace of Christianity from the public square, and now, they’d like to take away Mother’s Day. Why? Because they can…because, we let them.
