In the last few years, there has been a spate of violence against pro-life demonstrators at college campuses.
Viral videos from around the country have shown pro-life activists being harassed, physically assaulted, and having their displays destroyed by left-wing students and in some cases, faculty who have stood by and watched or actively participated.
In one particularly egregious case, a left-wing professor at Hunter College in New York City assaulted a New York Post journalist after destroying a pro-life display on campus.
The journalist, New York Post reporter Reuven Fenton, reportedly attempted to knock at Hunter College professor Shellyne Rodriguez’ door to receive comment after she destroyed a pro-life display, and she engaged in a violent outburst and assaulted him while also threatening him with a deadly weapon.
“Get the f— away from my door! Get the f— away from my door!” Rodriguez yelled at Fenton while kicking him repeatedly in the shins.
She then pulled out a machete and held it to his neck, causing Fenton and his photographer to run out of the apartment building.
She continued to chase them down the streets and threaten and yell at them.
“If I see you on this block one more f—ing time,” she yelled. “Get the f— off the block! Get the f— out of here, yo!” She said.
Hunter College said that Rodriguez was dismissed from her position after reports of the altercation surfaced.

The New York City professor who went on an expletive-filled rant and destroyed a student group’s pro-life display has now allegedly threatened a reporter who was covering the story by putting a machete to his neck.
Shellyne Rodriguez, a Hunter College adjunct assistant professor of art, responded to a New York Post reporter who knocked on the door of her Bronx apartment Tuesday morning by holding a machete to his neck and allegedly threatening to “chop” the man up, according to a New York Post report Tuesday.
“Get the f— away from my door, or I’m going to chop you up with this machete,” the professor reportedly shouted at the reporter, who was identified as Reuven Fenton.
