Liberal mayor of NYC, Eric Adams, has had enough of the Left-wing approach to immigration policy and criminal justice. Adams recently spoke out against the Biden Administration shipping illegal immigrants to NYC, admitting that his city is not prepared to handle such an influx of migrants. Now he is speaking out against the foolish criminal justice system in his city for continuing to keep dangerous criminals out on the streets without consequence.
On July 23, a teenager was captured on video violently attacking a police officer in an NYC subway station. Despite the teen’s violent history and assault on an officer, the offender was quickly released from Manhattan Criminal Court without bail.

Lynch: “If New Yorkers want to know why the chaos in the transit system is not improving more quickly — this is why. The criminals underground know they can get in a brawl, choke a cop and be back out in hours…” 1/2

The 16-year-old aggressor was charged with assault on a police officer, obstruction of governmental administration, and resisting arrest. He was released the next day without bail on one count of second-degree assault of an officer.
Just three days prior to this assault, on July 20, the same boy was arrested for robbery and the vicious beating of a stranger. The male suspect was also taken into custody back in April for carrying a loaded gun in the 75th Precinct in Brooklyn.
This young man, who is a clear and evident threat to society and innocent civilians, continues to get off seemingly without consequence after repeated, violent assaults.
Mayor Adams has come out in strong opposition to the decision to let the boy walk free again, accusing the negligent criminal justice system of turning NYC into a nationwide “laughingstock.”
“This person was arrested for robbery a few days ago, now he’s back,” said Adams, who then criticized the teen for his “total disregard for public safety.”
“We should be examining the bail laws in the area of violent offenders. As soon as we catch them, the system releases them, and they repeat the action.”
The mayor then laughed in disbelief and said,
“When I say we’re the laughingstock of the country, this is what I’m talking about. How do we keep our city safe when the other parts of the criminal justice system – they have abandoned our public safety apparatus.”
