On Wednesday, only 50 minutes before a scheduled White House meeting with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), to discuss a massive infrastructure bill, Speaker Pelosi attempted to get out ahead of the impending crisis Democrats and certain members of the intelligence community are certain to face, with the investigation of the investigators into the Trump campaign. In what can only be described as laughable, Speaker Pelosi attempted to turn the tables on President Trump, accusing him of being involved in a “coverup.”
Yesterday, the White House announced in a statement on their website that the documents related to the surveillance activities of President Trump would be declassified.
Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities during the 2016 Presidential election. The Attorney General has also been delegated full and complete authority to declassify information pertaining to this investigation, in accordance with the long-established standards for handling classified information. Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions.
A panicked Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who early on in the Mueller investigation, insisted he had proof that Trump colluded with the Russians, took to Twitter in an attempt to twist the narrative, where he actually accused President Trump of “weaponizing the intelligence community.”
Schiff probably thinks the American public isn’t smart enough to remember when he and his fellow Democrats demanded the Mueller report be released, and when it was released, and they didn’t get the results they were hoping for, demanded the report be fully redacted.
CBS News legal analyst Jonathan Turley explains the ridiculousness of the Democrat leaders request:
Democrats are therefore seeking a contempt sanction on a report that is 98 percent disclosed and only lacks grand jury material.
Barr restricted access to the 98 percent disclosed report, as opposed to the 92 percent public report, due to the inclusion of evidence impacting ongoing prosecutions. He has offered to expand the number of members and staff to review that material but insists on it remaining protected. But this has nothing to do with the redactions. It is the 2 percent solution to a major political dilemma of the left. Faced with a report that rejected the collusion theories of their running narrative, Democrats want to focus on those 2 percent of redactions rather than over 400 pages of findings.
Adam Schiff is now calling the declassification of documents related to the surveillance of candidate Trump, “UnAmerican,” and suggests the President is stonewalling the public from “learning the truth about his obstruction of justice.”
Here is his shameful and embarrassing tweet:
While Trump stonewalls the public from learning the truth about his obstruction of justice, Trump and Barr conspire to weaponize law enforcement and classified information against their political enemies. The coverup has entered a new and dangerous phase. This is un-American.

Sorry Adam, but sunlight is the best disinfectant. Watch the cockroaches scatter!
