James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, has stated that John Brennan’s anti-Trump rhetoric is becoming an issue. This is mostly due to Brennan having his security clearances revoked. Brennan might be upset and reacting towards having his security clearances yanked, but did he really think that being a former CIA Director under Obama’s administration would last much longer? A little bit of help from the Washington Free Beacon shows us what’s going on.

“Trump revoked the clearance of Brennan, the former CIA Director under President Barack Obama, on Wednesday, with the White House calling it a product of his “erratic” behavior and an abuse of his access to “make a series of unfounded and outrageous allegations.

Brennan shot back it was a politically motivated decision to silence him and other critics, and 13 former U.S. intelligence officials signed a letter blasting Trump’s decision as inappropriate.

One of the signers was Clapper, and CNN host Jake Tapper asked him if Brennan’s scathing criticisms of Trump were part of the problem. A contributor to MSNBC, Brennan recently called Trump’s widely panned press conference last month alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin “nothing short of treasonous.”

Watch the video:

“Do you think that John Brennan’s hyperbole is an issue here, is one of the reasons we’re having this crisis?” Tapper asked

“I think it is,” Clapper said. “I think John is sort of like a freight train, and he’s going to say what’s on his mind. I think, though, that the common denominator among all of us that have been speaking up, though, is genuine concern about the jeopardy or threats to our institutions and values, although we may all express that in different ways, and I think this is what this is really about. But I think John and his rhetoric have become an issue in and of itself.”

Former Obama administration Homeland Security Adviser said Brennan would say he “sometimes gets his Irish up” and was commenting in a “pointed” fashion on Trump’s words of praise and deference for Putin at their joint Helsinki press conference.

“He was really commenting on how stunning it was to him as a decades-long national security veteran and intelligence professional to see the president stand up in Helsinki next to our main adversary, President Putin, and not challenge him, not call him out for the attack on our democracy,” she said. “So I think that’s what John was responding to, yes, in very, very pointed fashion.”

Here’s where it gets good. These are clips from CNN and even they are saying that Brennan’s rhetoric is an issue. That’s big when CNN admits that someone who seems to be heavily anti-Trump at the moment is going a bit too far with their shenanigans.

Even funnier is that sometimes the comment sections of videos and articles have a lot to say and it’s often based in truth. Some commenters on this video are questioning the integrity of Brennan by stating that Clapper has no integrity of his own and the left will often eat themselves.

It’s just funny that the people who appear to be on the left will easily turn on each other to get ratings. Is there no loyalty?

Does Brennan need security clearances or not?

Trump didn’t think so. Trump called Brennan out on Twitter, talking about him and verbally bashing the former CIA Director. Trump stated: “Has anyone looked at the mistakes that John Brennan made while serving as CIA Director? He will go down as easily the WORST in history & since getting out, he has become nothing less than a loudmouth, partisan, political hack who cannot be trusted with the secrets to our country!”

Trump wasn’t very specific in what mistakes Brennan made, but we have noticed him being slightly loud-mouthed when it comes to Trump. Brennan seems to be quite critical of the president. Of course, it doesn’t help that Brennan was talking with Rachel Maddow. She’s not exactly a favorite when it comes to President Trump, so Brennan lost a bit of credibility when he ran to Maddow to drop some anti-Trump nonsense. A lot of people find it hard to take Maddow seriously.

Real Clear Politics stated: “I think he’s out of control,” Brennan said. “He is, has the steering wheel of the American vehicle in his hands. And he’s veering wildly right now. He’s trying to preserve and protect himself. And, so, what more demonstration do you want some when things get really, really bad? I’m glad that if his revoking my security clearance is going to wake some people up. Look at all the people who have come and spoken out. You know, the icons of a national security intelligence community over the past several decades saying enough is enough.”

“So, when are the members of Congress and the Republican Party going to say enough is enough?” he asked.”

I think the answer is very clear. The American people will be done with Trump in 2024 when his second term is up.

It seems like Trump will easily win the 2020 election if he runs for reelection as long as the voters get to the polls!

Maybe the people are tired of the anti-Trumpers like Maddow and Brennan dropping their fake outrage nonsense all over the place.
