If a majority of Americans can agree that something needs to be ended, it’s a good indicator that it’s the right thing to do.

Americans of every race are apparently in agreement that it’s time for Affirmative Action to end according to a new Gallop poll.

The poll comes after a Supreme Court decision to remove affirmative action initiatives within colleges.

68% of all Americans polled feel it was the right call.

Additionally, a majority of black Americans are in agreement.

52% of African-Americans polled said they want to see the initiative ended as well.

Newsmax has more on the poll:

An overwhelming majority of Americans — including 52% of Blacks — say that they agree with the Supreme Court’s decision to ban affirmative action initiatives at universities, according to a new Gallup poll released Tuesday.

Overall, 68% of those surveyed said that eradicating race and ethnicity considerations from the university admissions decisions is “mostly a good thing” vs. 32% saying it’s “mostly a bad thing.”

Daily Mail has more on the poll breakdown:

Americans of all ethnic backgrounds want to see the back of affirmative action, a survey shows.

Fully 68 percent of US adults say the Supreme Court’s decision to ban race as a factor in college admissions was ‘mostly a good thing,’ according to a Gallup poll.

That goes for all types of voters — big majorities of white, Asian and Hispanic Americans voiced support for the end of race-based admissions.

Even among black people — one of the groups the policy was designed to help — most respondents said they did not want special treatment.

Fully 52 percent of black respondents called the ruling a ‘good thing,’ while 48 percent were sad to see it go.

One has to wonder how democrats will respond to this poll…
