WTVY reports:
Arrest warrants indicate he was apprehended at his State Avenue home.
Federal court records show a federal judge sentenced Peterson to 75 months in August 2023. On January 17, three days before leaving office, Biden commuted his sentence and those of others. Records show he was released from prison the following week.
Peterson, according to federal prosecutors, conspired with Dothan pastor Kenneth Glasgow, who is the half-brother of civil rights advocate and television commentator Al Sharpton.
ADVERTISEMENTU.S. District Judge R. Austin Huffaker sentenced Glasgow on July 6, 2023, to serve 30 months behind bars on drug and theft charges. Court records show the Department of Justice placed him on probation on December 31, 2023.
