Fox Crew reporting on rise of violent crime in Chicago have a “gun” pulled on them by a suspect
As a Fox News crew report on violent crime across Chicago, a man approaches them and pulls what appears to be a firearm on them before moving away.
The suspect is now being searched for by the police, accused of aggravated assault with a firearm.
The crew was reporting on the fact that Chicago has had a 66% increase in shooting incidents in the last two years, which not-so-coincidentally corresponds to around the time that Biden was “elected.”
Violent crime across the country has surged, but especially in such major urban hubs as Chicago and NYC, both of which have had massive upticks in shootings, muggings, and other despicably violent crimes.
The suspect in this particular incident did not fire a shot, nor did he injure anyone to police’s knowledge. However, he was threatening a news crew with what can be assumed to be a loaded firearm or something meant to resemble one. This behavior is unacceptable in a civil society.
Chicago is a notoriously dangerous city, at least in some parts. Murder has gone up by 60% from the 2019 rate to the end of 2021.
Criminals are brazen and feel as though they can get away with anything they want, including threatening a news crew on live television in broad daylight.
The suspect appears to be 18-25 years of age, around 5’6-5’8 and 130-150lbs.
Police ask that anyone with information on the suspect call it in at 312-744-8261.
