There are endless stories about teenage girls sneaking out of their homes to be with a boyfriend. Fortunately, there aren’t many stories about a full-grown man living above a teenage girls’ bedroom in the attic, for easy access to her room.

The New York Post reports – A man was secretly living in a Tennessee family’s attic and often sneaked downstairs to visit a 14-year-old girl — whose mom knew nothing about it.

Matthew Castro, 18, was allegedly staying in the Mt. Juliet home, in the attic above the teen girl’s bedroom closet, police told local station FOX 17.

His stay came to an end earlier this month when the girl’s mom returned home and found Castro — who had been involved with her daughter — standing at the top of the stairs, according to the report.

Castro refused to leave and instead bolted to the girl’s bedroom, the outlet reported.

Officers made their way into the attic, where they removed Castro from the home and arrested him.

Castro apparently didn’t learn his lesson the first time.

On Thursday, Fox 17 reported that Castro was re-arrested when he was caught at the 14-year-old-girl’s home again and hit with similar charges that initially landed him in jail, according to the Mt. Juliet Police Department.

Castro was arrested after reportedly violating a protection order, trespassing and unlawfully entering a home.
