The Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Indian Trail man on numerous charges after they said he was caught trespassing on a store’s property with clown paint on his face and carrying a hatchet.

Deputies said at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, October 9 they were called to the Wilco Convenience Store located at 2700 Chambers Drive in Indian Trail in reference to a suspicious person.

Deputies began searching the area and found Travis Quenton Pressley, 20, of Indian Trail, matching the description, not too far away from the business.

Deputies said Pressley was carrying a backpack which contained a small quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a hatchet.

He was placed under arrest for second-degree trespassing, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia.
