According to a police report, officers were called to a Sam’s Club in Tennessee because a man pulled a gun on a Trump supporter wearing a MAGA hat.

The man who pulled the gun ended up in jail after he reportedly stuck a .40 caliber in the Trump supporter’s face.

WBKO reports:

“I have as much right to wear that hat and support my country and my president as he has not to,” said Pierce.

The police report confirms that the suspect, identified as James Phillips, admitted to flipping off Pierce and Pierce’s wife because of their hats.

Pierce tells 13 News that he was shopping with his wife when Phillips “Pulled a .40 caliber out and stuck it in my face, backed up and said, ‘It’s a good day for you to die.’”

Pierce went on to tell 13 News, “I said, ‘Then pull the trigger. Put the gun down and fight me or pull the trigger. Whichever one you want.’ And he backed up and he said it again, he said, ‘It’s a good day for you to die.’”

Pierce said the Phillips then took off. That’s when Pierce followed him out into the parking lot.

“I went out the front of the store to confront him again and that’s when I got him in his car. He couldn’t leave because his mother was still in the store. And we were having a verbal altercation outside,” said Pierce.

TEEN WEARING MAGA HAT CURSED AT BY STORE EMPLOYEE:

We previously reported on another case last weekend of a teen wearing a MAGA hat who was approached and cursed at by a store employee:

A Kansas mall employee is looking for a new job tonight after he was fired by Vans for saying “f*ck you” to a teenage customer wearing a ‘MAGA’ hat.

The incident was posted on social media (see below) showing the 14-year old’s mother confronting the anti-Trump employee. She then approaches the store manager to discuss what happened.

The mother confronted the rude employee and said: “He did nothing to you. What did you say to my son, to my 14-year-old?

The employee said: “I’m sure he’s heard it before.”

The mom wasn’t messing around. She responded: “Where’s your manager? Let’s go.”

The mother then explained what happened to the manager and how the employee told her teen son to take off his hat: “Then he said F you to my son. My son said nothing to him, did nothing .”

Vans Corporate offices released a statement and said they fired the employee.
