The media just doesn’t stop with their nitpicking of President Trump…today is no exception. Reporters are taking to social media this morning to criticize President Trump’s early morning tweets with their usual snark and bite without regard for what this day symbolizes. Can’t they let the attacks go for just one day?

This guy is sick and twisted! Joe Scarborough tweeted this promotion of his latest article in the Washington Post with a picture from 9/11…Shame on him and WaPo for publishing this trash!

Joe Scarborough tweeted this out: Disgraceful!

NBC took a veiled swipe at the president by posting his tweets with this message:

NEW: On the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, President Trump tweets about the Russia investigation, notes the 9/11 anniversary, and thanks his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani for his service as NYC mayor during and after the attacks.

The truth is that the president signed a proclamation honoring the victims of 9/11 and then tweeted about what a great job Rudy did during that time. He has since tweeted out other things about 9/11 but NBC chose to focus on his tweets about the Russia investigation. They specifically want to nitpick on a tweet from this morning:

The left is going crazy over tweet sent out about the same time as the proclamation for 9/11 (see below). You can guarantee that they will beat this like a dead horse all day…

Karen Tumulty is with the Washington Post:

President Trump signed a proclamation this morning to honor the Patriots who lost their lives on this day 17 years ago:

President Donald J. Trump signs a Proclamation at his desk in the Oval Office designating “Patriot Day 2018” to honor the memories of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and of every hero who has given their life since that day to protect our safety & our freedom.

The bitter left continues to turn every occasion into a negative. Today should be a day of remembrance and NOT a day to pick apart every single thing the president does or doesn’t do. It just never ends.

We will honor those who lost their lives today and remember what happened on September 11, 2001.

The president will be participating in 9/11 remembrances all day today.
