Last week, Germany imposed a sweeping lockdown on the unvaccinated, barring them from restaurants, movie theaters, leisure facilities, and many shops. “The fourth wave must be broken and this has not yet been achieved. Given the situation, I think it is appropriate to adopt compulsory vaccination,” Outgoing Chancellor Angela Merkel said this week. German police have enforced the lockdown in a heavy handed fashion. Last week, a video was released showing German police harassing and cornering an elderly woman because she didn’t have her vaccine passport on her. Now, shocking footage shows German police using rulers to enforce social distancing measures. WATCH:

“Hessen state police (Hessische Polizei) officers walk with folding rulers through the crowd in Frankfurt” The caption reads.
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s replacement, Olaf Scholz, announced new lockdown measures last thursday for the unvaccinated. “Mandatory Covid shots for hospital, care-home employees. As many as 30 million vaccine shots given by Christmas. Increase pool of people who can administer vaccines. Access to restaurants, theaters only for vaccinated, recovered. Access to non-essential stores only for vaccinated, recovered. Tighter contact restrictions for non-vaccinated people. Nightclubs closed in places with high infection rates. Limits on number of spectators at large public events. Expanded crisis unit to coordinate federal, regional action.”
Attempts to contain the coronavirus have already resulted in authoritarian policies across Europe, but people have had enough and are resisting the covid police state.
Last week, more than 40,000 protesters marched in Vienna to protest new lockdown measures and an attempt to make the vaccine compulsory.
Thousands protested in Frankfurt last week as police used violence to break up the demonstration because some protesters were not wearing masks.
