In an interview with “Fox & Friends Weekend” that will air on Sunday, Former First Lady Melania Trump speaks out about the baby formula crisis sweeping the nation.

Mothers across the nation have been facing a major shortage in baby formula, which is forcing parents to feed their babies over-priced formula that could make them sick.

In a clip from the upcoming interview, host Pete Hegseth asks Trump what she thinks about the current state of the U.S., to which she replies, “I think it’s sad to see what’s going on, if you really look deeply into it. I think a lot of people are struggling and suffering, and what is going on around the world as well. So, it’s very sad to see and I hope it changes fast.”

Hegseth then asks Trump about this developing crisis and how she feels seeing families struggle to properly nourish their infants. “It’s heartbreaking to see that they are struggling and the food is not available for children,” replies Trump. “In 21st century, in United States of America.”

“Why is it happening?” asks Hegseth.

“Leadership,” replies Trump.

“Or lack thereof,” adds Hegseth, which Trump agrees with.
