Who could’ve ever predicted Viktor Bout, aka the “Merchant of Death,” who was recently released from a US federal prison in exchange for the anti-American, black, female, lesbian, (checking all the boxes) basketball player, Brittney Griner, would help Putin in his grotesque war to gain control of Ukraine?

According to Russian state media, the “Merchant of Death” is planning to join Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine.

On Saturday, Maria Butina, a former prisoner of the US and current member of the Russian Parliament, interviewed Viktor Bout on the RT Network.

Butina, a former American University student, gained notoriety for attempting to join well-known right-wing organizations, like the National Rifle Association, as part of a Kremlin-sponsored influence campaign before the 2016 presidential election.

She was sentenced to 15 months in a US jail after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges before being released in 2019. She subsequently made her way back to Russia, where in 2021, she was elected to the State Duma.

Butina was convicted of operating as an unregistered foreign agent and served time in a US prison before being released back to Russia. In her interview with the Merchant of Death, she mocked the Biden regime over his release.

Just the News reports – When asked by the Russian state-sponsored outlet RT about the invasion of Ukraine, Bout said: “I never understood why we didn’t do this earlier.”

“I fully support the special military operation,” Bout said, using Russia’s nickname for the invasion of Ukraine. “If I could share the skills I have, I would readily volunteer.”

He accused the United States of “inhumane” treatment while he was in prison and said he “lost a lot of weight.”

When Bout was convicted in 2011 of conspiring to kill Americans and providing support to terrorists, including the Colombian FARC guerrilla army, then-Attorney General Eric Holder said he was “one of the world’s most prolific arms dealers” whose “arms trafficking activity and support of armed conflicts have been a source of concern around the globe for decades.”

Watch:

Meanwhile, the Democrats, who have doled out billions of our taxpayer dollars to fund another endless war in Ukraine, are still defending the Biden regime’s reckless decision to leave ex-Marine Paul Whelan behind in favor of releasing the woke basketball player for possibly one of the most dangerous men in the world.

Dingbat Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee defended the Biden regime’s decision while deflecting blame on “election denier” Donald Trump Jr. for their decision to leave an ex-Marine behind in favor of the woke basketball player.

Former Russian prisoner and woke US basketball player Brittney Griner in Russia.

“His weapons may have been used to kill Americans, but he didn’t kill any Americans,” she told MSBNC.

“Let me say this. No one knows the story of the weapons dealer if you will. And as the facts would tell them. He was sentenced to 25 years. He served 11 to 16 years; I can’t remember the exact number. But in actuality, his weapons might have been used to kill Americans, but he has not killed Americans. I’m not saying he’s not a nasty, bad guy. But I will tell you that I believe that Americans should know that the sovereignty of their nation will always be behind them, and they will never be forgotten. Brittney Griner deserved this fight that we put forth, and so does Paul Whelan.”

Watch:

When it comes to asking Americans to give billions of dollars we don’t have to give to Ukraine; Democrats have no problem with writing a check; they also have no problem with releasing one of the most notoriously evil arms dealers in the world who will now join the war against the country we continue to flood with billions. That’s Democrat logic…
