It was announced yesterday that five MI GOP gubernatorial candidates would be prevented from appearing on the primary election ballot in August. Two of the candidates whose ballot signatures are in question are the party’s top contenders, former Detroit Police Chief James Craig and self-made billionaire businessman Perry Johnson.

Craig’s campaign faces two challenges — one from a Michigan resident represented by lawyer and former Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer and another from Michigan Strong PAC, a conservative group supporting GOP gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon’s campaign.

The complaint filed by Brewer alleges that of the signatures Craig filed, nearly 7,000 signatures were forged, over 300 were duplicates, nearly 200 came from nonregistered voters, 30 came from deceased voters, and nearly 2,000 were otherwise defective. As a result, Craig failed to file sufficient signatures to appear on the August primary ballot, the complaint asserts.

Curiously, one of the key figures in what is looking more and more like a scam to get the top two Republicans removed from the ballot is one of the dirtiest Democrats in the state of Michigan. Only two days ago, MI Democrat Party Chair Mark Brewer tweeted about how the MI GOP caucuses in the state legislature have “Insurrectionist Caucuses within them” who are, according to Brewer, “still determined to overturn the 2020 presidential election and to undermine future elections.”

Brewer’s sudden interest in invalid signatures is curious, given his lack of interest in the case of Democrat SOS Jocelyn Benson, who, according to a MI judge, violated election law when she directed clerks across the state of Michigan to ignore the signature matching requirement on absentee ballots they received at their offices. Benson wasn’t responsible for allowing fraudulent or improper signatures to be placed on a ballot; instead, when she told clerks to ignore the important signature matching step to verify the voter’s identity, the Soros-funded Secretary of State was actually enabling voter fraud in Michigan on a potentially massive scale.

Michigan’s dishonest Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson

Michigan’s dirty Democrat Party Chair Mark Brewer, however, is worried about the “kind of message” it would send if any candidate with “forged signatures is allowed on the ballot?” Brewer is essentially saying that signature rules for a candidate who hires an outside group to collect legitimate signatures should be taken seriously, and the candidates who in good faith accepted the signatures should be removed from the ballot, but Jocelyn Benson’s crime of giving the green light to clerks to allow anyone to sign an absentee ballot in one of the most crucial elections in our lifetime, should be ignored.

Okay, got it.

Brewer never mentions that the two candidates with the best chance of defeating the unpopular Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer are the targets of the MI Board of Canvassers made up of two Democrats and two openly hostile anti-Trump “Republicans.”

Tony Daunt, one of the “Republican” members of the MI Board of Canvassers who will decide whether to allow Chief Craig, Perry Johnson and three other gubernatorial candidates to remain on the ballot in the primary election, resigned from the GOP’s state committee a week after the grassroots GOP delegates handed the establishment Republicans (RINOs) a historic humiliation at the state convention.

Never-Trump, Betsy DeVos loyalist Tony Daunt

On April 23, a majority of the 2,000 GOP delegates defied the donor class of Michigan and chose pro-Trump election integrity candidates Kristina Karamo for Secretary of State and Matt DePerno for Attorney General to represent the MI Republican Party in the August primary election.

In his resignation statement, Daunt, a cowardly, never-Trump RINO, tried to blame the popular former President for the uprising of grassroots delegates in Michigan. Daunt is also the former chair of billionaire GOP donor Betsy DeVos’s Freedom Fund PAC. DeVos, who was one of the first members of Trump’s cabinet to turn on him after January 6, is not going to sit back and allow everyday citizens of her state decide who will represent the MI GOP in the primary election.

Billionaire GOP donor Betsy DeVos

The other “Republican” MI Board of Canvassers “Republican” is Norm Shinkle, abstained from voting with the other MI Board of Canvassers on the certification of the hotly contested 2020 election in Michigan.

Democrat Mark Brewer isn’t the only dirty player in Michigan trying to knock out the top two GOP gubernatorial candidates. Less than one week after the state convention, millionaire and billionaire establishment donors like Doug DeVos, husband of Betsy DeVos, and former GOP Chair Bobby Shostak sent an invitation to fellow RINO donors to attend a private meeting on May 17 with former VP Mike Pence where they would strategize about how to get establishment candidates elected.

According to an April 30 article about the Michigan Opportunity Alliance, published by RINO Detroit News Editorial Page Editor Nolan Finley:

“The alliance includes roughly 50 of the state’s wealthiest individuals and is led by former state party Chair Bobby Schostak and west Michigan businessman Doug DeVos.

The invitation from Michigan Opportunity Alliance Doug DeVos and Bobby Schostak inviting the millionaire and billionaire GOP donors to the event was intercepted and shared with 100 Percent Fed Up. Here are a few excerpts:

In 2020 many of you joined us as we created the Michigan Opportunity Alliance (MOA); thank you. Our goal was, and continues to be, gathering like-minded supporters to coalesce around electing conservative candidates who will bring those conservative sensibilities to Lansing.

Our first cycle, we engaged in House primary races and nine of the 10 candidates we supported won, and ultimately went on to win their general elections. As co-chairs of the Michigan Opportunity Alliance, we are ready to take our work, and team, to the next level this cycle.

We will kick off our meeting with lunch, where we will be joined by former Vice President Mike Pence. Following lunch, we will have a program that is certain to help you navigate this tricky political environment.

Only ONE WEEK later, the top two GOP gubernatorial candidates were informed that their names would be removed from the primary ballot in August. Curiously, on the same day the announcement came, Betsy DeVos and the DeVos family endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon, whose polling numbers were so low that she didn’t even qualify to participate in the GOP governor’s candidate debate on Mackinac Island.

Stay tuned…there’s a LOT more to this story…we’ll be reporting on all of the details soon.
