MI Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey (R) talks a good game, but why should anyone take him seriously, especially regarding election fraud? For months, the House and Senate Oversight Committees have been in possession of mountains of subpoenaed evidence from Detroit, Livonia, and Wayne County related to election fraud, but have refused to share the evidence with the public or even to let members of Congress view the evidence without first agreeing to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement).

100 Percent Fed Up had an exclusive interview with House Oversight Committee Chair Steve Johnson on June 15. Rep. Johnson told us that NDA’s must be signed by members of Congress, but according to the Oversight Chair, the NDA only applies to sharing documents with the public. However, several sources have since confirmed that Johnson’s statement was indeed inaccurate and that members of Congress are being asked to sign an NDA if they choose to look at the evidence.

On June 17, Senator Shirkey was confronted by a reporter working for Us Against Media in front of the Capitol building in Lansing, MI, where hundreds of Michigan residents gathered to pray and to deliver over 7,500 subpoenas to Senator Shirkey’s office, as well as other key lawmakers like Republican Rep. Steve Johnson (R), chair of the House Oversight Committee, House Speaker Jason Wentworth (R) and Senate Oversight Committee Chair Ed McBroom (R).

Senator Shirkey was asked by an Us Against Media reporter if he believes in a forensic audit in Michigan? “We’re watching very carefully what’s happening in Arizona. I’m talking with the leadership there on almost a daily basis, and that will inform our decisions.”

When Michigan activists, lead by James Hooper and accompanied by Us Against Media’s John Clore, attempted to drop off the 7,500+ affidavits at  Mike Shirkey’s office, an aide for the Senate majority leader, who refused to identify herself, informed the group that Senator Shirkey’s office wasn’t big enough to accommodate the boxes of affidavits. Instead, she directed them to the Senate Majority Leader’s room. “We don’t have any area to accommodate the boxes,” she told them,” When John Clore of Us Against Media informed everyone that Mike Shirkey has a “very large office,” the aide back-tracked,  saying, “We don’t have a filing room.”

Less than one week later, Senator Mike Shirkey (R) and Senate Oversight Committee Chair Ed McBroom (R) delivered a report that said the Senators found “no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud.” In their report, the majority Republican commission recommended that Michigan’s lawless Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel investigate mostly Republicans who’ve been working tirelessly to investigate voter fraud and accused them of spreading false information and attempting to profit from their work.

“The committee finds those promoting Antrim County as the prime evidence of a nationwide conspiracy to steal the election place all other statements and actions they make in a position of zero credibility,” the report read.

Additionally, they recommended initializing a witch hunt for anyone who dared to question the results of the November election in Michigan. “The committee recommends the Attorney General consider investigating those who have been utilizing misleading and false information about Antrim County to raise money or publicity for their own ends,” the report said.

What about Senator Shirkey’s comments about waiting to see what happens in Arizona? How can the MI senate majority leader say he’s watching the AZ process carefully to decide how they will proceed if he’s already made up his mind that there was “no widespread fraud” in Michigan?  The Senate report completely disregards the sworn testimony by hundreds of Michigan GOP and Independent poll workers who were bullied and threatened by election workers and mobs of leftist agitators whose only job, it appeared, was to prevent the poll workers from watching the process. Not only did these brave Americans endure hours and in some cases days, of abuse, but they took it a step further, and made the trek to Lansing, MI from across the state to testify in front of the Senate Oversight Committee about the voter fraud they witnessed.

The Senate report also ignores the new Rasmussen poll that shows 55% of Americans support forensic audits of the election results.

Senator Majority Leader Mike Shirkey (R) and Senate Oversight Committee Chair Ed McBroom’s report on election fraud in the November election is a slap in the face to every Michigan citizen who trusted their elected officials to ensure elections in their state are safe and secure and that the results are accurate and reliable.
