President Trump addressed the media tonight at his Bedminster Golf Club in New Jersey.

During his press conference, he blasted Portland’s Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler for allowing the radical left to take over the city. Trump thanked Homeland Security for saving the federal courthouse, adding that if Joe Biden gets into office that the radical left will treat him like a puppet, saying about Biden, “He’s merely a puppet” for the radical left. “They want every city to be a Portland or a Chicago,” Trump said about the violent radical rioters in majors cities across America.

President Trump cited the violence in New York, where there’s a 348% increase in violence. Trump called it, “so sad,” adding it’s a “horrible, horrible” situation, blaming, “incompetent management by politicians that truly don’t know what they’re doing.”

“So, just like we saved the courthouse, we will save the United States of America,” he told them, adding that the vast majority of Americans agree with him.

Trump offered to take questions from the media, and that’s when things got interesting.

A reporter was called on by President Trump. Instead of asking a question about policy, the reporter called out his fellow reporters for not wearing face coverings, as mandated by the state of New Jersey.

President Trump, who is a master of trolling his enemies (the media), quickly responded that the media is exempt from wearing masks because they are part of “a peaceful protest!” Members of the golf club erupted in applause. Trump continued, adding, “You know, you have an exclusion in the law… it says peaceful protests, or political activity,” he said, looking down as if he was reading the law the way it was written.

Mic drop…

Almost right on cue, the beta reporter from CNN, Jim “crybaby” Acosta, tweeted about how President Trump turned his Bedminster news conference into a rally, “bashing the press and drawing applause from his golf club members.” Acosta whined that the golf club members were “booing the press towards the end of the news conference.”

What did Acosta expect them to do? Does Jim Acosta seriously believe anyone trusts CNN or the other attack dog groups disguised as media who attend Trump’s press conferences for the sole purpose of trying to create a gotcha moment?
