Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein was convicted today of rape and criminal sexual assault.

He will serve no less than five years and up to 25 years in prison.

The case is being described as a landmark case in the #MeToo movement, where several women testified about Weinstein’s predatory behavior.

Weinstein was convicted of rape in the third degree in the case of Jessica Mann (pictured below). She was an aspiring actress when Weinstein raped her.

It took the Obama’s five days to respond to accusations of rape and sexual misconduct against mega-Democratic donor and Hollywood movie producer, Harvey Weinstein after they emerged.

Many in Hollywood claimed Weinstein’s sexual predator behavior was a well-known and well-kept secret.

In 2013, during a White House event for high school students, Michelle Obama praised the now-convicted rapist.

Michelle Obama told the crowd, “I want to start by thanking Harvey Weinstein for organizing this amazing day.” She pointed to Weinstein, who was seated in the audience, “Harvey. This is possible because of Harvey. He is a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse.”

Fox News – The Obamas had a long relationship with Weinstein: he donated thousands to the former president’s campaigns and visited the White House more than a dozen times, according to visitor records. The Obamas’ daughter, Malia, interned for Weinstein at the Weinstein Company in 2017.

After 5 days, the Obamas finally released a statement saying: “Any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status.”

The now-deceased Anthony Bourdain shared an audiotape on Twitter of what “powerhouse” Harvey Weinstein sounded like in action. He was given the tape by his girlfriend who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Harvey Weinstein in 1997.

What a nice guy.

He did so much for the Democratic Party and their candidates.

It’s a shame he may be going to prison for life…
