With the Trump-hating actress, Julia Roberts by her side, and Jenna Hager-Bush, daughter of the anti-Trump former President George W. Bush, former First Lady Michelle Obama opened up on President Trump’s sham impeachment hearings. Michelle called the moves to oust President Donald Trump from office “surreal.”

The Daily Mail reports – The former First Lady spoke with host Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show on Monday as she visited Vietnam for her first public overseas trip since leaving the White House to promote girls’ education.

When asked about her impression of the impeachment hearings she said: ‘It’s surreal I think. The last impeachment hearing, a lot of young people weren’t around for that. So this is all new, I don’t think people know what to make of it.

‘But do I think we can come back from it? Oh yeah. We’ve seen worse times. We’ve seen tough times in this country. We’ve gone through depressions and wars and bombings and terrorist attacks and we’ve gone through Jim Crow – and we’ve always come out stronger.’

You’ve gotta love how Michelle compares her party’s impeachment sham to bombings, terrorist attacks, and of course, slavery <insert eyeball roll here>.

Jenna Hager Bush and Julia Roberts

Don’t let the smile behind the face of Michelle Obama’s travel companion, Julia Roberts’ face fool you. She’s one of several angry, Hollywood actresses who’ve exposed their true feelings about Republicans since Donald J. Trump defeated Hillary in 2016.

In the video below, actress Julia Roberts can be seen speaking on Broadway, where she attempts to elicit support for Hillary Clinton only one month before the 2016 election.

At one point in the video after dropping several “f-bombs,” Roberts makes a joke about her kids watching her speak on the televised show.

“You have one job, you are a citizen.” Roberts tells her audience. “You are a citizen. Okay, I’m a liberal. and I am proud of it. Why do conservatives think that people who don’t make serious dollars are not serious people? Why do we let the right wing claim patriotism and religion for themselves?” the actress who appears to be inibriated, adds.

Perhaps Vietnam could find a permanent role for Julia Roberts and Michelle in their country?
