In 2017, a group called the Justice Democrats held auditions (see video here) for potential congressional candidates that they would run on their platform for various congressional seats throughout the country. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s brother, Gabriel, submitted her for the role of Congresswoman in the district where she eventually won a seat in our United States Congress. The former bartender turned Congressional actress, has had her share of embarrassing moments since occupying a seat in the U.S. House.
Since becoming a U.S. Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has made one factually incorrect statement after another. She’s made so many embarrassing statements as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, that even her own party has publicly condemned her.
Mayor Bill DeBlasio, who is getting ready to throw his hat in the overcrowded pool of Democrat presidential hopefuls, blasted his fellow Socialist lawmaker, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez for chasing between 25,000 and 40,000 jobs to New York City, saying: “As a progressive, my entire life — and I ain’t changing — I’ll take on any progressive anywhere that thinks it’s a good idea to lose jobs and revenue because I think that’s out of touch with what working people want,”
While on a trip overseas, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told a laughing audience, “When we won this election, it wasn’t in districts like mine or Alexandria’s. She’s a wonderful member of Congress as I think all of our colleagues will attest. But those are districts that are solidly Democratic.”
Pelosi then picked up a glass of water and said: “This glass of water would win with a ‘D’ next to its name in those districts.”
Last month, Ava, an 8-year-old Ocasio-Cortez look-alike became an internet sensation, when her parents taped her doing an impression of the dingbat Democrat congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The Twitter account for the little Ocasio-Cortez impersonator, aptly named “Mini AOC,” just posted another hilarious performance by the young actress, and we think this one is even funnier.
From mocking Ocasio-Cortez’s apparent lack of understanding of U.S. history to ridiculous “green new deal,” this little girl is spot on with her impersonation of America’s most laughable lawmaker. As an added bonus, Ocasio-Cortez introduces her “boyfriend,” she claims she bought an “eco-friendly” car for with “campaign donations.” The lawmaker has been under fire for campaign violations and for having her boyfriend on her congressional payroll. In a hilarious moment, AOC’s “boyfriend” can be seen driving away in his motorized toy car after being admonished by his “girlfriend,” with a sign attached to the back of his vehicle that says, “Free James Woods,” a reference to censorship of the conservative actor on Twitter. The mini Ocasio-Cortez ends her skit by announcing that she has to get back home before the street lights come on, as she looks at the camera, smiles and says, “Good night, Venezuela!”…a clever reference to her love for socialism.
