A hopeful story of a conversion to the real religion of peace…

A former Islamic State extremist has renounced a life devoted to jihad and converted to Christianity after claiming to have seen Jesus in a dream, according to a Christian missionary operating in the Middle East.

The report comes from Youth With A Mission, a non-denominational Christian missionary consisting of over 18,000 full-time volunteers operating in more than 1,100 ministry locations in more than 180 countries, according to its website.

The former jihadist claimed to have killed a number of Christians — and enjoyed it — until he made his conversion, according to CBN News.

Everything changed for him when he dreamed of a man dressed in white he took to be Jesus with a solemn message: “You are killing my people.”

CBN senior international correspondent Gary Lane is trying to confirm the story.
