Imam Mohamad Tawhidi, who goes by the moniker, the “Imam of Peace,” tweeted out an interesting exchange between foreign policy analyst Qanta Ahmed and CNN’s Fredericka Winfield.

Imam Tawhidi tweeted: CNN didn’t know what to do with a Muslim doctor that defended the President. “Ok thank you”

“This president and this administration is often castigated as ‘Islamophobic,’ but I move in the Muslim world, in Egypt, in Oman, in Jordan, in Iraqi Kurdistan, where this president is beloved. This president and the Republican Party going back to George Bush is very dearly held.”

“It’s very important not to lose so much perspective that we start believing our entire government is Islamophobic. That’s not the case.”

CNN’s Winfield appeared speechless, simply telling Dr. Ahmed, “Always a pleasure to have you. Thank you, so much.”

Here are three videos showing the entire interview with Dr. Ahmed on CNN. In this interview, Ahmed explains how Islamic hardliners like President Erdogan of Turkey, the “Muslim Brotherhood Islamic godfather” and around the world are exploiting the New Zealand attack to divide Muslims from the rest of the world. Dr. Ahmed claims that Erdogan has been asking Muslims to watch the live video of the attack at the gunman.

Dr. Ahmed reminded the CNN host that when Muslims and Christians in Pakistan defended Christian Asia Bibi, who was on death row, were killed.

Here is the same video as the one above, where Dr. Ahmed defends President Trump and the Republicans, that was retweeted by Dr. Ahmed.
