FORMER SNL COMEDIAN and all-around great guy Joe Piscopo sounded off on Monday about this weekend’s Saturday Night Live cold opening featuring Stormy Daniels.

PISCOPO STARTED WITH “MY OLD ALMA MATER” REFERRING TO HIS DAYS ON SNL:
“I’m so loyal to SNL,” he told Maria Bartiromo during an interview on “Mornings with Maria.” “But Stormy Daniels on SNL? Lorne Michaels doesn’t even ask me to go on SNL.”
During the skit Daniels trashed a fake President Donald Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, and warned him that, “a storm’s a-coming.”
But Piscopo said the skit went “over the line.”
“It was such a great, organized sketch,” he said. “But don’t put Stormy Daniels in there!”

We couldn’t agree more and think the politicization of the comedy show is a big turn off and is just mean and nasty…NOT FUNNY! Piscopo mentioned a fellow SNL alum who just came out against the mean-spirited comedy attacking President Trump – see Schneider’s comments below.

PISCOPO DOES A MEAN IMITATION OF MAXINE WATERS, BERNIE SANDERS  AND ADAM SCHIFF:

Joe Piscopo is hysterical! He was on with Neil Cavuto and broke out with imitations of Waters, Sanders and Schiff: “And then you got Maxine Waters, Maxine Waters. What is with Maxine Waters. And every day with Maxine Waters it’s, “I am sooo angry! Angry! Donald Trump scares me!” Maxine, please, just relax!

Thank you Joe Piscopo for saying what everyone else is thinking!

FORMER SNL ALUM ROB SCHNEIDER ON THE MEAN-SPIRITED COMEDY:

Former ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Rob Schneider is as sick of left-leaning politics on his former show as American conservatives are.  Schneider has a great point when he says the audience knows exactly the direction a piece will go in:

“The fun of ‘Saturday Night Live’ was always you never knew which way they leaned politically. You kind of assumed they would lean more left and liberal, but now the cat’s out of the bag they are completely against Trump, which I think makes it less interesting because you know the direction the piece is going.”

Schneider is no stranger to telling the left what he thinks. He was trolled by democrats early last year and then shot back with an epic tweet:

2010 Dems lost the House 2012 Dems lost the Senate 2016 Dems lost the White House 2017 Dems lost ability to reason It’s not Russia, it’s YOU

Later last year he called out Hillary Clinton in a hysterical tweet:

At this point, I believe a judge should grant America a restraining order against Hillary Clinton for stalking.

Deadline reports

Schneider, who currently stars in Netflix’s reality show Real Rob, also found Alec Baldwin’s portrayals of President Trump particularly vexing. He compared Baldwin unfavorably with Dana Carvey’s imitations of President H.W. Bush, who Schneider felt skewered with a touch of affection.

“Carvey played it respectfully,” Schneider said. “To me, the genius of Dana Carvey was Dana always had empathy for the people he played, and Alec Baldwin has nothing but a fuming, seething anger toward the person he plays.” Schneider said Baldwin is “hard to watch. Alec Baldwin is a brilliant actor… he’s not a comedian.” He added: “I don’t find his impression to be comical. Because, like I said, I know the way his politics lean and it spoils any surprise. There’s no possible surprise. He so clearly hates the man he’s playing.”

Schneider claims to be politically independent and feels today’s partisan politics is particularly ugly. “Literally, if you don’t go the party line — you’re out. There’s a real ugliness to it,” he said.

While Schneider won’t reveal whether he is a Trump supporter, he did not that attacks on the president won’t produce results.  “Nothing good can come from making Trump nervous,” Schneider said. “It’s like asking Bill Cosby to top off your drink.”

Schneider later took to Twitter to amplify his remarks:
