In late August, President Trump zeroed in on the Ohr couple and their involvement in the phony Russian collusion witch hunt.

On August 29, 2018, President Trump asked “How the hell is Bruce Ohr still employed at the Justice Department?

Trending: SPOT ON! SEN ORRIN HATCH Delivers Blistering Message To CNN Reporter On Trump’s “Legal Troubles”

One day later, Trump tweeted about his disgust for the wife of the Ohr duo who appears to be up to their necks in the Trump-Russian collusion scheme.

Wow, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr’s wife, is a Russia expert who is fluent in Russian. She worked for Fusion GPS where she was paid a lot. Collusion! Bruce was a boss at the Department of Justice and is, unbelievably, still there!

On Monday, Fox News reported that President Trump ordered the declassification of several key documents related to the FBI investigation of Russian actions during the 2016 presidential election, including 21 pages of an application for a renewed surveillance warrant against former campaign aide Carter Page, and text messages from disgraced FBI figures Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Trump had ordered the documents released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the Justice Department “[a]t the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency.”

The documents to be declassified also include all FBI reports on interviews with Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all other applications to surveil Carter Page.

Judicial Watch’s Chris Farrell joined Lou Hobbs to discuss the corrupt Mr. and Mrs. Ohr:

“Bruce Ohr is the lynchpin in all of this. His wife worked for Fusion GPS. Then he took that information and funneled it back to the DOJ. He was abusing his position in office”

Chris Farrell was referring to Catherine Herridge of Fox News: Herridge connects the dots and explains how Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson are all connected.

SARA CARTER ASKS THE BIG QUESTION ABOUT WHEN THE FBI FOUND OUT THAT STEELE WAS GETTING INFO FROM OHR…IF IT WAS BEFORE THE FIRST FISA REQUEST, IT’S NOT GOOD FOR THE FBI.

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON NELLIE AND BRUCE OHR:

We’ve been covering the curious case of DOJ official Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr…What they did is corrupt and underhanded. Nellie worked for the opposition research firm hired by the Democrats to get dirt on Trump (see below). Her husband would take whatever Nellie produced about Trump and hand it over to the FBI. This should be jail time because of the omission of the conflict of interest being an ethics violation. So far, it appears as though Bruce Ohr has just been demoted.

NOW WE FIND OUT THAT BRUCE OHR HID THE FUSION GPS PAYMENTS TO HIS WIFE:

Daily Caller reports:

Bruce Ohr, the Department of Justice official who brought opposition research on President Donald Trump to the FBI, did not disclose that Fusion GPS, which performed that research at the Democratic National Committee’s behest, was paying his wife, and did not obtain a conflict of interest waiver from his superiors at the Justice Department, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show.

The omission may explain why Ohr was demoted from his post as associate deputy attorney general after the relationship between Fusion GPS and his wife emerged and Fusion founder Glenn Simpson acknowledged meeting with Ohr. Willfully falsifying government ethics forms can carry a penalty of jail time, if convicted.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) hired Fusion GPS to gather and disseminate damning info about Trump, and they in turn paid Nellie Ohr, a former CIA employee with expertise in Russia, for an unknown role related to the “dossier.” Bruce Ohr then brought the information to the FBI, kicking off a probe and a media firestorm.

The DOJ used it to obtain a warrant to wiretap a Trump adviser, but didn’t disclose to the judge that the DNC and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign had funded the research and that Ohr had a financial relationship with the firm that performed it — which could be, it turns out, because Ohr doesn’t appear to have told his supervisors. Some have suggested that the financial payments motivated Bruce Ohr to actively push the case.

The Daily Caller is now reporting that Nellie Ohr, the wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, is refusing to appear before Congress for a closed-door hearing that was scheduled to take place this Friday, sources tell The Daily Caller News Foundation.Ohr, who worked for Fusion GPS, the firm behind the Steele dossier, was scheduled to appear for interviews during a joint session with the House Judiciary and House Oversight & Government Reform committees. But two congressional sources said that she is not cooperating with the requests and will have to be subpoenaed to compel her appearance.

The sources said that House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte is considering a subpoena for Ohr. A spokesman for the Virginia Republican did not respond to a request for comment.

The sources also said that former FBI general counsel James Baker is not cooperating with the committees’ request for an interview.

Ohr was slated to appear before the committees to discuss her work for Fusion GPS. Ohr, an expert on Russian affairs, worked for Fusion GPS from December 2015 until just after the election.

Bruce Ohr, the former assistant deputy attorney general, was in contact with dossier author Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson before and after the election.

The Ohrs both met Steele, a former British spy, in Washington, D.C. on July 30, 2016, a day before the FBI formally opened its counterintelligence investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

Congressional sources have told TheDCNF that Bruce Ohr briefed then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe about his interaction with Steele within days of the meeting.

Ohr’s contacts with Steele increased after the FBI cut ties with the dossier author just before the election because of unauthorized contacts with the press. Ohr provided at least a dozen briefings to the FBI about his interactions with Steele from November 2016 to May 2017. – Daily Caller
