Two months ahead of the November 2020 election, Frank Luntz, the pollster and communications expert who’s made a career out of giving Republicans talking points, praised Joe Biden’s abysmal online acceptance speech at the DNC convention.
According to a recent report by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Luntz is also a “Google lobbyist,” who appears to be very effective at hiding his connections with the far-left. At the same time, Republicans pay the Trump-hating fraud for his services. Carlson recently outed House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy for living in “Google lobbyist” Frank Luntz’s DC apartment.
Luntz denied any wrongdoing on the Times podcast. “I’m not a lobbyist. I’ve worked through Google on language. I don’t advocate for them,” he said.
Prior to this segment on Luntz, Carlson referenced an Axios piece in which Luntz said, “Republicans are more pro-immigrant than elites realize,” to which the Fox News host ridiculed Luntz for not supporting law and order.
Luntz said on Newsmax, “Trump voters support the Dream Act” and “the ability of these people who are brought here … the ability to earn a path to citizenship.” He added that “we need these people.”
“Frank Luntz doesn’t want to debate it,” Carlson said. “He wants instead to pretend that his personal opinions are established fact and that the Republican Party had better listen to them and obey.”
Not a good look for the top House Republican to be living with this creep…
One month before the November 2020 election, Steve Bannon revealed email exchanges between Frank Luntz and Hunter Biden in 2012 where Hunter excoriates him for not criticizing a Romney’s China/Jeep ad.
Frank basically tells Hunter that he didn’t “help” them out and slam the ad because Joe had “snubbed ” him. Luntz bellyaches about that like a teenage girl, even mentioning that he’s talked to Beau – Hunter’s brother – about it his hurt feelings.
And then he drops the news that he “declared” Joe the winner of the VP debate against Paul Ryan, even though Paul Ryan was his “client.”
Now, Judicial Watch has released more damning information on Frank Luntz, the so-called Republican communications expert.
The information on Luntz was discovered as part of an FOIA by Judicial Watch for the purposes of looking into the details of the departure of Michigan’s former Health and Human Services Director Robert Gordon, who was given a $155,506 payout and was forced to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) as part of his separation from Michigan’s dirty governor in the midst of the Wuhan virus pandemic.
Conservative Treehouse -Within the FOIA release, there are emails between Director Gordon and Governor Whitmer using guidance from pollster Frank Luntz. In essence, Luntz was helping Gretchen Whitmer construct the wording used to manipulate the Michigan citizenry into buying the COVID propaganda.
Judicial Watch– On December 1, 2020, Gordon forwarded to Whitmer’s chief of staff a PowerPoint summary on COVID political messaging, “Changing the COVID Conversation,” put together by pollster Frank Luntz working with a company called de Beaumont Foundation, based on a survey of 1,100 Americans. They “tested specific words, sentences, phrases, and attributes Americans need to hear to change their behavior and stop the spread of the coronavirus.” A significant part of the report analyzed Democrat-vs.-Republican responses. For example, one of several “warnings” Luntz emphasized, “Many Republicans refuse to follow guidelines because they argue the science keeps changing. It’s up to you to communicate – at the outset – that the science is settled.”
Much of the Luntz Report deals with wordsmithing. A table in the report categorizes words as “Words to Use” and “Words to Lose.” For example, use “protocols” and lose “orders & decrees;” use “social distancing” and lose “physical distancing.” Another Luntz recommendation is to “Call It the Pandemic,” based on his surveys that found the word “pandemic” is “more significant, serious, and scary” than the alternatives“COVID-19” and “The Coronavirus.”
Based on his findings, Luntz had a series of “insights” he offered:
Nothing scares GOPers more than an IRS audit‚ except testing positive for COVID.
Despite vocal criticism from President Trump, President-elect Joe Biden was rewarded, not punished for “staying in his basement” for two months.
There are only two trusted organizations and people – the CDC and Dr. Anthony Fauci. No one else is close. And don’t forget to utilize survivors of Covid as well. Congress also lacks credibility.
If you want Republican buy-in, you must make the case that the science is settled and that everyone now agrees.
Say “Public,” Not “Government”
The FOIA is damning for the Democrat darling who has aspirations of winning a second term.
“These new Michigan documents show the ugly and cynical approach by Michigan state officials to COVID – who were using tax dollars to buy secrecy and manipulate public opinion,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
