In March 2019, an article written by Tessa Stuart in Rolling Stone begins by addressing Omar’s hijab and why she wears it. Omar admits to Stuart that she didn’t always wear her hijab; it wasn’t until after the horrible attack on America by Islamic extremists on 9-11, that she chose to wear her hijab to make a statement.

In the Rolling Stone piece, Omar admits that she didn’t wear the hijab because of her faith but wore it after 9-11 as a way to defend her faith?

Since Omar was elected as a State Representative in Minnesota, she’s done very little to elevate her faith or to show any signs of positivity. She’s been accused of marrying her own brother to help him commit immigration fraud. She’s also been accused of several campaign finance violations. Only weeks into her new role as a U.S. lawmaker, Omar falsely accused sitting U.S. Senator, Lindsey Graham (R-SC) of “being compromised” (many believed this was a veiled threat, as she wanted others to believe that someone had the ‘goods’ on Graham, forcing him to admit he was gay). More than one anti-Semitic tweet showed up on her personal account. Omar’s defense was that she was confused about why the tweets were offensive to Jews?

To date, Omar shows no signs of helping to shape a positive image of either herself or her faith.

The not so modest Muslim lawmaker is currently in the middle of another divorce with her current husband that she married in a “traditional” faith ceremony after it was reported that she’s having an affair with a married aide, who has a 13-year-old son.

Ilhan Omar’s brazen double life involving secret hookups, romantic vacations, and talk of marriage to her DC strategist lover is today laid bare after an exclusive DailyMail.com investigation.

The leftist congresswoman, 37, spent months denying she had split from husband Ahmed Hirsi despite this website revealing she had left their marital home and was having an affair with a campaign aide.

She finally filed for divorce on October 7 – but still refuses to acknowledge her relationship with veteran Democratic schmoozer Tim Mynett, 38, whose wife also petitioned for divorce in August.

Kim and Tim Mynett before Rep. Ilhan Omar affair.

DailyMail.com can now disclose that Omar and Mynett are not only dating but living together ‘on and off’ at a secret DC apartment while plotting romantic vacations to Jamaica and making plans for a long-term future together.

Photos of Omar and her aide show Omar and her boyfriend, Tim Mynett, separately leaving her D.C. apartment.

The photos taken by the Daily Mail, show Mynett leaving in his blue Mustang and Omar getting into his vehicle in front of her D.C. apartment.

Insiders have gone so far as to suggest the pair are considering marriage when their respective divorces are finalized.

At the same time, however, DailyMail.com can further reveal that Mynett’s spurned wife Beth, 55, is refusing to yield in divorce proceedings because she feels Omar is a risk to their 13-year-old son William’s safety.

She wants primary custody and has told friends there is ‘no way’ she will allow her child to be ‘put in the crosshairs’ should someone try to harm the firebrand lawmaker because of her political leanings.

Omar and Mynett have denied their relationship, but we’re pretty sure these photos of Mynett bringing groceries to and taking the trash out of Omar’s D.C. pad tell a very different story.

So much for the whole “modesty” thing…

On October 26, 2016, City Pages, a local Minneapolis publication, wrote about the story of Ilhan Omar.

In their article, City Pages discusses the improbability of Omar, a female, Somali Muslim, being elected in the Minnesota State legislature. They talked about the difficulty of getting Somali men in Omar’s district to vote for her. Rep. Ilhan Omar, the woman who repeatedly refers to President Trump (who’s surrounded himself with women in high-level positions in his corporation throughout his career), as a “sexist” and a “misogynist,” openly admits that women in the community she embraces, admit to being forbidden by their husbands to vote for her.

City Pages -There were some votes Omar would never get.

“I had women in my community tell me, ‘Ilhan, I want to vote for you, but my husband won’t allow it,’” she says.

Funny, we’ve never heard Omar condemn the Muslim Somali men in her district for their “sexist” or “misogynistic” attitudes towards the women in the community where Omar belongs.

In 2018, Muslim women in her district were prevented from voting for her because she’s a woman, how will the majority Muslim community react to Omar in 2020 after dumping her Muslim husband for a married, non-Muslim aide with whom she’s having an extramarital affair? Will Omar’s new lifestyle be acceptable to voters she’s counting on to win the 2020 election in her district?
