Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have been making appearances on all of the leftist talk shows but she’s not so popular back in Queens and the Bronx. According to the voters in her 14th Congressional District in a new door-to-door survey, she might want to brush up on her bartending skills.
-She has a low 21% favorability rating
-Just 11% believe she has their best interests in mind
-Only 13% would vote to reelect her
This was a survey of registered voters that was conducted by the Stop the AOC PAC. The political action committee is targeting her and has been a target of the left in return.
A previous survey on Ocasio-Cortez showed the voters in her district were upset with losing the Amazon headquarters. This was due to Ocasio Cortez’s complaints about Amazon and then the eventual decision for Amazon to go elsewhere.
Two veterans who won’t be voting for Ocasio-Cortez recently stormed out of her office:
Two veterans who live in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s district in the Bronx had a private meeting with her but got sick of the Trump and USA bashing, so they walked out of the meeting.
When she bashed US foreign policy during the meeting with the community leaders, the two veterans walked out.
The New York Post reported that Vietnam veteran Silvio Mazzella said: “She knocks the country, she knocks the president. And that’s not what America is about. Talking about America, that really turned me off completely.”
Army veteran Anthony Vitaliano said: “I just couldn’t hear her BS anymore. I just got up, got my umbrella in my hand, and walked right out.”
The progressive firebrand slammed the US policy of providing bombs to Saudi Arabia, which has supported Yemen’s government in a brutal civil war, according to attendees. Some blamed her for not including the roles of other nations in explaining the volatile region’s violence.
One person in the meeting who didn’t want to be identified said that Ocasio-Cortez called President Trump and Israeli PM Netanyahu autocrats.
The Washington Examiner then reported that Ocasio-Cortez’s spokesperson “contested” the account from the veterans in the meeting: “The only person that left the meeting while it was underway was someone who had to go pick up their children.”
So what do these two veterans do? They go on Fox News to tell their story:
