A video shown publicly today for the first time has Congress and national security experts baffled and worried.

The footage was revealed during the latest hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP’s) held this morning on Capitol Hill.

Besides shocking testimony from multiple US military personnel — we’ll get to that… you’ll want to hear this — US Congressman Eric Burlison (Rep. MO) unveiled the never-before-seen surveillance footage.

Taken from an MQ-9 Reaper Drone operated by the US military off the coast of Yemen last year, the footage shows what Rep. Burlison describes as an “orb” being tracked by the drone’s onboard surveillance system.

He explained that a second MQ-9 armed with Hellfire missiles then attempted a shootdown of the “orb”.

That shootdown attempt was unsuccessful, as you’ll see in the video.

But not because the missile missed the target, nor because the explosion wasn’t enough to bring the target down.

But at least partly because there WAS NO EXPLOSION upon impact.

You can clearly see the missile impacting the “orb”, and then possibly splitting in midair — as some have described it.

After impact near the 28 second mark the view changes because the camera pans out, showing the “orb” continuing on it’s course unfazed!

If you’re like me, you really don’t have a clue how big a Hellfire actually is.

I looked it up — turns out they’re more than 5 feet long, and heavy!

So even without the ‘BOOM’… you would think the mere kinetic force of that impact would destroy or take down whatever it hit.

The military veterans who brought their own stories to the Oversight Committee were equally amazed at the footage revealed by Rep. Burlison, as covered by the Daily Mail:

A group of military whistleblowers testified under oath that they’ve seen UFOs and that the US intelligence community has tried to cover it up.

Three Navy and Air Force veterans testified Tuesday morning on Capitol Hill at the third congressional hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), the new term for UFOs, since 2023.

During the hearing, Congressman Eric Burlison of Missouri showed shocking, never-before-seen footage of a UFO being struck by a Hellfire missile from a US military drone on October 30, 2024.

The black-and-white video captured the 100-pound class air-to-ground precision weapon bouncing off the mysterious orb, which continued traveling at extreme speed off the coast of Yemen.

Witness Jeffrey Nuccetelli, a former Air Force military police officer for 16 years, called the new video ‘exceptional evidence’ of the existence of UFOs.

He and the other men disclosed how they saw multiple types of strange, unexplained craft while on duty, including giant triangles, glowing cubes larger than a football field, and the infamous Tic-Tac-shaped vehicles spotted over the Pacific Ocean.

Along with their eye-witness accounts, two of the veterans claimed that the US government has attempted to keep their incidents a secret, allegedly threatening witnesses to stay quiet and blacklisting at least one of the veterans.

Before showing the clip of the Reaper drone strike on the “orb”, he goes into some of the frustrations the Oversight Committee has faced as they are “actively blocked” by individuals inside the government from being able to access information on UAP’s:

Whatever that is, the mere fact that it shrugged off a Hellfire missile strike (with barely a hiccup in it’s giddy up, as my Grandma would say) is mind-blowing.

I can only hope that this was in fact some sort of live test of a secret US technology that none of these guys knows anything about.

Otherwise someone — another nation, or another entity — just flaunted it’s ability to mitigate some of the best weaponry we have.

And the US government, at least publicly, claims to have no idea who that nation or entity might be.

That’s scary.  (It might be even scarier if that’s a lie and we DO know who or what it is — but that’s a different story for a different time.)

Here’s another clip from the hearing during which Rep. Luna had the footage of the missile strike replayed.

She then asked the panel of military personnel if they knew of any US technology that could “split” a Hellfire like that:

There was also a particularly frightening story told by UFO investigative journalist George Knapp during the course of today’s hearing.

And I found this account so shocking I just couldn’t leave it out of this story.

Knapp told the Committee about an incident that allegedly took place back in the 80’s, which he learned of in the 90’s from some Soviet documentation.

WWIII nearly kicked off, if his account is accurate, when UFO’s ACTIVATED Soviet nuclear missiles aimed right at the United States.

The UFO’s seen over the Soviet base somehow entered the correct nuclear codes according to Knapp’s telling of the incident, as covered in this Fox News report:

George Knapp, an investigative journalist, testified Tuesday before a House Oversight subcommittee hearing that, back in the 1990s, he obtained Soviet documents allegedly indicating a UFO almost triggered World War III. According to Knapp, he obtained documents showing that an incident involving UFOs in 1982 almost caused Russia to launch intercontinental ballistic missiles, also known as ICBMs.

“There was an incident in October of 1982 over an ICBM base where UFOs popped up, was observed over this base, where the missiles are pointed at us, the United States,” Knapp told the House Oversight Committee “Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.”

“These UFOs perform incredible maneuvers,” Knapp said. “They split apart, they fuse back together, they’d appear and disappear. And right at the end of this four-hour period, the launch control codes for the ICBMs lit up. Something entered the correct codes. The missiles were fired up and ready to launch, and they could not shut it down.”

Knapp said Russian officers began “panicking,” but the UFOs soon disappeared, and the launch control systems went back to normal.

The personnel at the time could not figure out what caused the issue, he said. Knapp said the personnel did not blame EMPs (electromagnetic pulses), or power surges, or offer “the bologna excuses that the United States has given for similar events involving our nuclear missiles.” Rather, he said, they believed it was a message from wherever the UFOs had come from.

“That’s a chilling thing. I mean, that was. We were a couple of seconds away from World War III starting, and the UFOs were responsible for it,” Knapp said.

Like you, I’ve grown up hearing stories like that — but usually from the US side of things.

And there doesn’t tend to be that much specificity on the details whenever word leaks out about spooky UFO incidents at US bases.

Knapp’s story from the Soviet era, coupled with his assertion that there are servers chalk full of military surveillance videos like the one highlighted in this story, makes me wonder…

Just how prevalent are those incidents involving UFO’s or UAP’s that bring us right to the brink of WWIII, or even just the recognition of our own impotency in the face of unknown technology?

Over the last few years, the number of whistleblowers coming forward with stories like this has skyrocketed; willingly facing ridicule and personal financial hardship as a result.

Statistically, that means these encounters in which our technology is bested in a real-world scenario is potentially much more frequent than most of us would suspect.

Rep. Luna opened the hearing this morning with a stark warning about the national security implications of this unknown phenomena.

The former Air Force intelligence specialist who sat on the panel echoed Luna’s concerns as well as relating his own personal experience of retaliation for reporting what he had seen, as reported by Newsmax:

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., chaired the House committee hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) where three Navy and Air Force veterans appeared. It was the third such congressional hearing on the government’s term for UFOs.

“Today I was to state clearly, this is not science fiction or creative speculation,” Luna began her statement. “This is a national security, government accountability and the American people’s right to the truth,” she said adding, “we cannot protect our airspaces if our best trained observers are silenced.”

In his opening statement Tuesday, former Air Force geospatial intelligence specialist Dylan Borland alleged that multiple government agencies sabotaged his career by blocking job opportunities, forging documents, and manipulating his security clearance. He claimed the retaliation began after he reported witnessing a 100-foot triangular craft flying low over him at Virginia’s Langley Air Force Base in 2012. According to Borland, the craft made no sound, disrupted his phone and shot thousands of feet into the air within seconds.

Tuesday’s hearing comes as the Trump administration seeks to be more transparent about UFOs. The White House announced in June an order to “restore American airspace sovereignty.” The task force aims to recognize the growing threat of UAPs and seeks to increase restrictions over critical infrastructure, develop new drone detection technologies. The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) noted in July that it has received more than 2,000 incidents of UFO sightings in the first half of 2025.

If you didn’t catch it, I want to invite you to go back and look closer at the MQ-9 Reaper surveillance video again.

Did that Hellfire split, as Rep. Luna seemed to think — and as many have reported today?

Or did it simply bounce off inert, with it’s explosive package failing… and even the kinetic energy of the impact rendered impotent against the “orb”?

And what are those 3 pieces seen flying along with the main object after impact?

Is that debris from the Hellfire?  I don’t think so.

As I said, the Hellfire seems to have simply bounced off, intact, falling into the ocean!

But those 3 objects seem to be part of the original “orb”, and yet they MAINTAIN some sort of connection to the main object after the impact.

They even maintain their speed, flying along with the UFO!  Even when the Reaper camera pans out, you can still make out those 3 pieces, barely visible, if you look close.

What can possibly render a Hellfire inert, survive the impact of it’s 100 pound kinetic impact, maintain it’s highspeed course heading after impact…

And even hold parts of it’s own structure in some sort of FORMATION — even while separated from the main object — and just keep going!?

As they say, some questions leave you with even more questions than answers.

And this may all get even stranger than it already is… long before it makes any rational sense — if it EVER does!
