A new New York Times/Siena College poll has more bad news for Democrats.
The poll found that swing-state voters who voted for Democrats in 2018 plan to vote for President Trump in the 2020 election:
“Nearly two-thirds of voters in six battleground states who voted for President Trump in 2016 — but for Democratic congressional candidates in 2018 — say they intend to back the president against each of his top rivals, according to recent polling,”
The change in voting could be the difference in state vs. national elections. Democrats can’t deny that the economy is booming with Trump at the helm. They may not like other policies but the great economy is a winner for any politician.
Could the swing in voters back to President Trump have to do with the dip in interest in impeachment by Democrats?
A new Hill-HarrisX Poll has been released showing a dip in the interest in impeachment by Democrats.
The Hill reports that the percentage of Democrats who say they are interested in impeachment hearings dropped five percentage points. The overall percentage points also fell by five percentage points with Independents and Republicans also dropping their interest in impeachment.
Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi are shooting themselves in the foot by pushing the impeachment forward. The American people are seeing the entire process for what it is…biased! Also, the more the Democrats push for an investigation, the more information on their corruption during the Obama years comes out.
The impeachment will not pass in the Senate and Democrats will have wasted several months for nothing. Also, if the Senate holds hearings, the candidates for president cannot campaign during that time so this hurts their chances to compete for the nomination for president.
31 HOUSE DEMOCRATS TO CALL TO LET THEM KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT IMPEACHMENT:
Investigative journalist Paul Sperry created a list of Democrat House members who won elections in vulnerable districts, yet took the risk of supporting the radical Democrats in their efforts to undo the 2016 election results by agreeing to move forward with bogus impeachment proceedings.
Every one of these 31 Democrats who supported the impeachment circus in districts that lean Republican, need to held accountable for their actions at the ballot box in 2020.
Here is list of the 31 vulnerable House Dems in 2020–all from districts won by Trump–who may now break ranks on the increasingly unpopular impeachment(especially if there were a GOP equivalent of Indivisible to stalk them in their home districts over the Thanksgiving recess):
