On April 30, Chicago residents fired their horrible, ineffective, loudmouth, confrontational mayor Lori Lightfoot

Instead of electing a mayor who would work for the citizens of Chicago and take a stand against the rampant crime in Chicago that is driving residents and businesses to move to other states, they instead elected another Democrat. The newly elected mayor of Chicago is more than just a Democrat; he’s also the darling of the radical Chicago Teacher’s Union and was endorsed by avowed Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders. Sadly, for the taxpaying citizens of Chicago, who were hoping for a reduction of crime in their city, Brandon Johnson appears to be the most far-left radical mayor the city of Chicago has ever elected.

Over the weekend, an act of terrorism by a massive mob of young people that was organized on social media took place in a popular tourist area of Chicago.

Over 100 teenagers met in Downtown Chicago on Saturday night as part of an event that was organized on social media called “Takeover the Loop.”

Daily Mail reports – Dozens torched and smashed cars while blaring music in a ‘teen trend’ that left two with gunshot wounds. Shocking footage showed some teenagers jumping on top of a bus while others started a massive brawl after descending on Millennium Park and attempting to breach barricades.

Two teenage boys, ages 16 and 17, were shot.

This Twitter user warns that WWIII has already begun in Democrat-run cities like Chicago.

Downtown Chicago’s lakefront area wasn’t the only place where violent crime was running rampant in the City of Chicago. According to the Chicago Sun-Times – at least ten people were killed, and a Chicago police officer and a paramedic were among 58 others wounded in weekend shootings in Chicago.

Nearly half the shootings occurred in just four police districts that have seen more gun violence than this time last year: Grand Crossing and Deering on the South Side and Harrison and Ogden on the West Side.

In Harrison alone, at least 21 people were shot over the weekend, including two mass attacks in East Garfield Park and Humboldt Park that wounded 10 people. The two neighborhoods are among the deadliest in the city this year, according to Sun-Times data.

Vince Langman shared a statement from the newly elected Chicago Mayor Johnson where he blames others for the behavior of children who have no respect for others, their property, and, more importantly, their lives.

Johnson’s statement is as follows:

“In no way do I condone the destructive activity we saw in the Loop and lakefront this weekend. It is unacceptable and has no place in our city. However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities.”

“Our city must wrk together to create spaces for youth to gather safely and responsibly, under adult guidance and supervision, to ensure that every part of our city remains welcome for both residents and visitors. This is one aspect of my comprehensive approach to improve public safety and make Chicago livable for everyone.”

This isn’t the first time Mayor Brandon Johnson refused to condemn violent criminal behavior in his city; the newly-elected Chicago mayor also refused to condemn the massive looting in Chicago during the George Floyd riots that caused multiple businesses to close down their stores on the Miracle Mile and sent many residents packing for safer states.
