This morning, after the transcript of the July 25th call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky, was released, Fox News White House Correspondent John Roberts explained that the “big thing” that everyone was talking about was a “quid pro quo” arrangement between the two leaders. Roberts explained the controversy surrounding a whistleblower allegation that claimed President Trump warned he would “cut off military and other aid” to the Ukraine government, unless Ukraine President Zelensky agreed to investigate Joe Biden’s son, Hunter. Roberts clarified, saying, “That language, or even the suggestion, exists nowhere in this document.”

President Trump addressed the issue in a press conference today where he called the Democrats non-stop, false accusations against him, “The single greatest witch hunt in American history.” In discussing the transcript of the call to Ukraine President Zelensky, Trump said the thing that surprised many people the most is how “nice” he was on the call.
Trump continued to dress down the corrupt and fake media, pausing for a moment to point at an unidentified journalist, accusing them of being part of the corrupt media, saying, “I would rate you right in there, by the way.”
President Trump reminded the press of how their fake news is having a real effect on American’s investments, noting that yesterday, after the announcement of a formal impeachment inquiry by House Speaker Pelosi, the stock market went down. He explained how the market went up after the transcript was released. Trump gloated about his poll numbers, telling the media, they are at 53%, “the highest ever,” adding that many believe “you could add ten” points to the poll, effectively putting his poll numbers at 63%.

Politico reports – In one of the RNC emails, supporters were taken to a landing page where they were invited to contribute to a joint fundraising account, with proceeds split evenly between Trump’s reelection campaign and a fund for the eventual Republican nominee in Slotkin’s district.
