The Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York represents over 50,000 active and retired New York City Police Officers. Pat Lynch is their leader, and you can see why in the videos below. He delivered a passionate speech about how the politicians are following the crowd of liberal radicals calling to “defund the police.”

Pat Lynch on the effect of the anti-police movement:

“Our politicians want us to walk away from our communities and abandon you.”

He told the group that they should never be ashamed of being a New York City police officer:

He said that the NYPD had denounced the death of George Floyd from the beginning:

Former NY Governor George Pataki spoke out in support of the NYPD today: “The utter inept political leadership at every single level is just really, really tragic.”

“It’s the mayor, it’s the governor, it’s the district attorneys, but it’s not the police. They’re the ones caught in the middle.”
