A perfect argument for the 2nd Amendment. Could our world get any more savage than this? This father was walking with his daughter and a group of thugs descend upon them and proceed to gang rape her. These animals were caught on video later laughing and smiling.
An 18-year-old woman was savagely attacked by a group of men who took turns raping her during a horrific scene at a Brooklyn playground, officials said Saturday.
The victim was inside Osborn Playground in Brownsville about 11:15 p.m. on Thursday when the five suspects approached her and her father near the park’s handball courts, officials said.
One of the suspects — described by police sources as a man in his 20s or 30s in a red jacket and black pants — pulled a gun and ordered the victim’s dad to leave the playground, officials said.
“Get the f— out of here,” he ordered, according to police sources.
Each of the five men then raped the young woman, the NYPD said.
The victim’s father ran from the playground and called 911, officials said. When he returned soon after with two uniformed officers, the suspects scattered, cops said. The trembling victim was treated at Kings County Hospital, officials said.
The five fiends remained on the loose Saturday, as police released surveillance video of the group entering a nearby bodega before the attack. Several of the suspects can be seen smiling in the footage:
People who live near the park said they would now be looking over their shoulder in the wake of the terrifying violence.
“You don’t wanna go inside there at night. It’s too dark. There’s no lights,” said Michael Henry, 57.
“I have to keep an eye out. To me, I thought this was safe,” said Carrol Brown, 52, who moved to the area last week from Bushwick.
He said he would tell his 16-year-old daughter to avoid the public playground after dark. “No, no,” he said, “She’s definitely not hanging out in this park.”
One woman who lives nearby fumed that cops had not already been patrolling the park when the heinous crime occurred.
“”Where are they?!,” she yelled. “How can they wonder how stuff like this happens, and then when it gets dark they’re not here!”
Rapes were up 6.3% citywide in 2015 to 1,439, according to NYPD statistics.
Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577 TIPS.
