Earlier today, the fired, former FBI director James Comey, tweeted a message of support for Democrat presidential candidate, Joe Biden.
Comey tweeted:
Voted in first Dem primary to support party dedicated to restoring values in WH. I agree with @amyklobuchar: We need candidate who cares about all Americans and will restore decency, dignity to the office. There is a reason Trump fears @joebiden and roots for Bernie. #Biden2020
Joe Biden’s rapid response director quickly shot back, responding to Comey’s endorsement, saying:
Yes, customer service? I just received a package that I very much did not order. How can I return it, free of charge?
OUCH!

After Biden’s rapid response director was roundly admonished by Democrats, desperate to ensure the Democrat-Socialist candidate Bernie Sanders doesn’t get the Democrat Party nomination, he recanted his brutal response to the disgraced former FBI director. In his follow-up tweet, Bates called his remarks a “lighthearted joke.”
After several hours Bates tweeted an apology of sorts: I forgot the #1 rule of politics, which is that if you talk about anyone or anything related to 2016, common sense goes out the window. It was meant to be a lighthearted joke – not a rejection. We appreciate the vote of anyone repelled by Donald Trump.

Here is an example of a couple of response to Bates’ tweet:
Do you speak for the entire @JoeBiden campaign? I think folks would like to know. Seems the campaign is saying it doesn’t want the support of independents or Republicans with concerns about Trump. If so, enjoy losing in November.
Julie Kelly tweeted that after all of the time Biden and Comey spent together in the Situation Room concocting the Russian collusion hoax, the rejection of Comey’s support seems…”ungrateful.”

Expect more division and fallout within the Democratic Party, including never-Trump members of the Deep State, like James Comey.
