Jailed journalist and Infowars host Owen Shroyer reportedly faces an additional 30 days of solitary confinement during his 60-day prison sentence.

“Federal govt is now planning to throw TV host Owen Shroyer in solitary for a full month,” Jack Posobiec wrote.

The Post Millennial previously reported that Shroyer was placed in solitary confinement within FCI Oakdale prison due to ‘COVID intake protocol.’

“We have confirmed through a source within FCI Oakdale prison that Owen is doing well and remains in good spirits. With that said, unfortunately he is being held in solitary confinement until Monday 10/30 per the facility’s (absurd/pathetic) covid intake protocol,” Owen Shroyer’s X account posted.

Shortly before being forced to turn himself in, Shroyer posted a video message that he encouraged his viewers to share far and wide.

“That year 1776 is extremely important not just because it was the founding year of our country, but the US government is arguing that it’s illegal for me to say 1776 in Washington, DC,” he explained.

“Don’t believe me? Check the US government sentencing memo for yourself. They said that me chanting ‘1776’ in Washington, DC is worthy of 60 days in prison.”

Shroyer’s 60-day prison sentence was ordered by US District Judge Timothy Kelly, who had also handed down Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio’s 22-year prison sentence.

Prosecutors had attempted to get Shroyer locked up for double the amount of time he ultimately received. They claimed he had “spread election disinformation paired with violent rhetoric” to people prior to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Shroyer posted an additional message before turning himself into the prison for his sentence.

“If you are seeing this video, then I am officially incarcerated,” Shroyer said.

“I am actually behind there. Right there in federal prison,” he added.

“I promise I’m never going to give up telling the truth,” Shroyer said.

“I’m going to be there for 60 days and in those 60 days I’m going to find a way to better myself. I’m going to find a way to come out stronger. I’m going to come out wiser. I’m going to come out bolder. I’m going to come out more focused,” Shroyer explained.

Jailed journalist Owen Shroyer of Infowars is now facing an additional 30 days in solitary confinement, a post from Shroyer’s X account reveals. The additional 30 days of solitary confinement, combined with the time he’s already served in that form of punishment, will mean that when his term is up, he will have spent more than half of his sentence in solitary.

“UPDATE,” the post reads. “We have received a tip indicating that Owen is now facing 30 days in solitary confinement. He has been moved to another building on the FCI Oakdale prison grounds. We have still not been able to communicate directly. This is the only information we have at this time.”

Shroyer was put in solitary confinement for five days upon arrival at the prison due to the facility’s Covid policies, and then spent additional time in solitary confinement after the audio of a phone call from prison was released on X as a message to his followers.

Donald Trump Jr. criticized the reported treatment received by Shroyer.

“Is anyone watching how they treat their enemies? Not violent criminals, those people are treated with dignity and respect, but simply those who would speak up loudly against the regime? This is dystopian behavior and the govt’s unfettered power must be put in check now!” he said.
