San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution in Ohio, pleading no contest on Monday to a pair of misdemeanor charges.
The 46-year-old, who is from Youngstown, Ohio, was arrested Sunday in East Palestine and booked into Columbiana County Jail.
He was also convicted of “possessing criminal tools,” ESPN noted.

The court records say the local prosecutor filed the plea deal Monday morning as York pleaded no contest and paid $1,150 in fines ($150 for the disorderly conduct charge and $1,000 for the criminal tools charge).
York also was sentenced to one day in jail for each charge, with one day already considered to be served.

The family has owned the franchise since 1977.
York and his wife Danielle Belluomini have two sons, Jaxon and Brixton.
“On August 23, 2026, the East Palestine Police Department assisted the MVHTTF on the arrest of John York,” a police report read, according to WKBN.

The police report lists the time and location of the arrest as 9: 35 a.m. at Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community off state Route 170.
The release from East Palestine police states all further information must come from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
