‘Schools are manifestations of the imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchal educational enterprise’ – Dorinda Carter Andrews, Chairperson for the Department of Teacher Education at MSU.

It’s difficult to believe that a woman who is so full of hate could be allowed to guide anyone in education. Still, the Grand Ledge Public Schools Board of Education voted 6-0 to hire Dorinda Carter Andrews in an August 11, 2020, virtual meeting. This ‘diversity consultant’ is also a professor at Michigan State University and has claimed that capitalism and schools are racist.  Grand Ledge schools hired her to assist with the district’s new Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, aka Critical Race Theory (CRT). Andrews lectures on CRT in a video below from 2016.

Michigan Cap Con reports: Andrews said in a Facebook post that has since been deleted:  “Please remember that school is not the most humanizing and safe place for many of our babies, especially in predominantly white settings but really in all contexts, because the majority of schools are manifestations of the imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchal educational enterprise.”

Andrews also said whites are “always to be advantaged in the system.”

She spoke with a group in Flint, Michigan about “using Critical Race Theory as a framework”…This was way back in 2016!

Because of this misguided decision by the school board located in Michigan, numerous parents are threatening to remove their children from the school district. Critical Race Theory teaches our children to believe that America is racist and is a Marxist ideology.

One protesting parent hit the nail on the head during a June 14th school board meeting:

“This BOE has worked and orchestrated to bring suppression, segregation, hate, and division to our schools under the guise of diversity, equity, and inclusion. In August, you voted to contract with Dorinda Carter Andrews with taxpayer money to teach our children, teachers, and other Grand Ledge staff racism, bigotry, shame, and Marxist ideas.”

A clip from the meeting where a school board member made faces and rolled her eyes:

At a June 14 school board meeting, several parents testified that they either already pulled their children from Grand Ledge schools or were considering it. They cited critical race theory as the reason.
