The Bidens skate around paying taxes by making pathetic contributions to their own charity, all while liberals chant “Tax the Rich!”

“Tax the Rich” is a staple chant among liberals like AOC and her followers, yet Biden himself barely pays his taxes. Paying less than 25% tax on over $610,000, the Bidens pay a minuscule amount by working Americans’ standards. How? By making a small donation to his own charity.

The couple gave $17,394 to 10 different charities in 2021. The largest gift was $5,000 to the Beau Biden Foundation, a nonprofit that works to combat child abuse named for their son, Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015 at age 46.

The Bidens had a combined income of $610,702 and paid only 24.6% of that, or $150,439.

Donating pocket change to their own charity for a tax write off is sleazy, even for them. What makes it worse is that they’re practically bragging about it.

“With this release, the president has shared a total of 24 years of tax returns with the American public, once again demonstrating his commitment to being transparent with the American people about the finances of the commander in chief,” the White House said in a statement.

What good is transparency when you’re paying less than anyone else earning the same amount of money, and doing so by donating to your own charity foundation?

The optics game and constant spinning which Democrats do cannot make up for their hypocrisy. If they want to “tax the rich” so badly, Democrats should start amongst themselves.
