Aside from his anti-Trump rhetoric or having babies out of wedlock with his maid while married to his former wife Maria Shriver, the mostly insignificant Arnold Schwarzenegger has managed to stay out of the news for several years.
Schwarzenegger sent the ratings into the toilet after taking over as host of Trump’s wildly popular “Apprentice” reality show.
Unfortunately, the former “Republican” CA Governor and Hollywood actor is back in the news again after reportedly causing a multi-vehicle accident in Los Angeles while making a left turn at a traffic light while the arrow was still red.
The Daily Mail reports – The former governor, 74, was driving his GMC Yukon SUV and was about to turn onto busy Sunset Boulevard, about half a mile from his home in Brentwood, when he smashed into a red Toyota Prius at 4:35 pm.
The Prius was said to have made a U-turn in the road when the collision occurred. The impact of the crash was so severe that the Prius’ airbags deployed as a result of the collision, as did those in Schwarzenegger’s vehicle.
The star’s SUV then started to roll onto a white Porsche Cayenne directly behind Schwarzenegger’s.
Law enforcement are conducting a full investigation into how the accident occurred. Although no tickets have been issued, one police source said they believed the accident was the fault of the Terminator actor. He was attempting to make a left turn but did not wait for a left-turn arrow at the intersection of Sunset and Allenford Avenue.
Police told TMZ that Schwarzenegger was making a left turn while the arrow for a left turn was still red. He was not ticketed by police and uninjured in the crash.
The female driver was hurt in the crash and was seen to be bleeding heavily from her head, although her injury is not believed to be serious. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
‘Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected as a factor in this collision. All parties remained at the scene. No further information will be made available,’ police said in a statement.
Schwarzenegger’s friend Jake Steinfeld was in the car at the time of the crash and could be seen in some of the pictures taken in the moments after the collision.
Immediately following the January 6 Capitol incident, and before he knew any of the details or about who was actually involved in the unarmed “insurrection,” the Hollywood RINO blamed Trump for the rioters who broke into the Capitol. In a videotaped message, the narcissist actor compared what happened on January 6 to the Holocaust and the people who went inside the Capitol to Nazis. The 74-year-old ended his videotaped message by saying Trump would “go down in history as the worst president ever” and that he would “soon be irrelevant.”
“Irrelevant?” Trump’s Arizona rally last week brought an estimated 15K supporters to an outdoor venue to hear him speak. Thousands were turned away from the overflowing venue, and police had to turn vehicles away that had no chance of arriving at the venue.
