The Pittsburgh Gazette just endorsed President for reelection, saying that his record on the economy can’t be beaten. The Gazette begins the endorsement by acknowledging that President Trump isn’t perfect and hasn’t been so-called “presidential” on some occasions. Endorsing President Trump doesn’t mean you endorse everything he’s ever said and done but you’re endorsing his accomplishments as POTUS. That’s it…nothing more.

The Gazette pointed out three key economic achievements of the Trump administration:

-Under Donald Trump, the economy, pre-COVID, boomed, like no time since the 1950s. Look at your 401(k) over the past three years.

-Unemployment for Black Americans is lower than it has ever been, under any president of either party.

-Under Mr. Trump, our trade relationships have vastly improved and our trade deals have been rewritten. Thanks to him, middle America is on the map again and the Appalachian and hourly worker has some hope.

Other accomplishments by President Trump mentioned in the endorsement are that he puts America first, and he kept his promise on the Supreme court choices.

This voter is impressed by President Trump’s accomplishments:

The endorsement got down to the final point and it’s the most important one for this area of America…ENERGY!

Finally, let’s talk about one of the most important concerns in this region — energy. Under Mr. Trump the United States achieved energy independence for the first time in the lifetimes of most of us. Where would Western Pennsylvania be without the Shell Petrochemical Complex (the “cracker plant”)?

This voter says her family has benefited first-hand from Trump policies:

President Trump hit Pennsylvania hard in the last days leading up to the end of his campaign. One of his largest rallies was just a day ago and drew thousands.

“A sea of people.”

The message must be getting through loud and clear that President Trump will not shut down our fossil fuel industry.
