The Detroit Police Department says “dangerous and illegal 360 activity” (video below) happened Sunday with a driver doing donuts on the freeway.

Traffic was stopped on the highway by a large group to make space for a car to do donuts on the highway.

Police have a suspect who wasn’t actively involved but was present and involved in blocking traffic.

The Camaro had unknown license plates because they’re covering their license plates with a message to police

Detroit Police Chief James Craig told the media:

“I’m not going to tell you what that message is, but the message is despicable.”

Craig also sent a warning to the group:

“Here’s my message to them: We are going to find you, and when we do, we’re going to arrest you, and we’re going to seize your vehicle. In fact, my plan with the Challenger is we’re going to keep it, we’re going to seize it, and we’re going to convert it into a police car.”

The Detroit Free Press published a video from the incident:

This isn’t the first time this group has done this. Chief

Craig said he won’t put up with the blatant disregard for public safety.
