Two days after an 18-yr-old boy shot walked into Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX, and killed 18 elementary school students and two teachers, Polk Co. Florida’s no-nonsense Sheriff Grady Judd, delivered a brutal message for anyone who might be thinking of attempting to shoot up a school in his county.

Standing before the media, Sheriff Grady Judd addressed any would-be school shooters and offered them a stark warning:

“But if you come to a school in this county, armed, we’re going to do our best, through either our guardians or our school resource officers or our school resource deputy sheriffs, to eliminate the threat outside of the school before they ever get to the children,” Sheriff Grady Judd said.

He added, “We’re trained to do that.”

“Now, if you have trouble understanding that, let me give it to you in Polk County vernacular,” he said as he held up a photo for everyone to see.

The photo (see below) is a clear warning that well-trained and well-armed individuals will be waiting for you inside the school if you happen to slip by the security outside.

“This is the last thing you’ll see before we put a bullet through your head if you’re trying to hurt our children. We’re gonna shoot you ‘graveyard dead’ if you come onto a campus with a gun, threatening our children or shooting at us!” he warned.

Sheriff Judd wasn’t kidding. He also posted a help wanted ad on the Polk County Public Schools Facebook page for “safety guardians.”
