Pictures and video footage have gone viral of a transgender high school teacher who wears comically massive prosthetic breasts to school, complete with skin-tight shorts and a shirt, which the fake nipples distinctly protrude from.

The teacher, identified as Kayla Lemieux, is a Manufacturing and Technology instructor at Oakville Trafalgar High School in Oakville, Ontario. Lemieux reportedly began identifying as a woman just last year.

A video taken during Lemieux’s shop class, seemingly without the teacher’s knowledge, revealed the absurdity of the fake bust and the completely inappropriate way this teacher is permitted to dress. In the video, which quickly went viral on social media, Lemieux is demonstrating how to use a circular saw.

After the school began to receive criticism for allowing a teacher to dress like this, they starkly defended Lemieux’s “gender expression.”

A statement to the high school’s parents said,

“We are aware of discussion on social media and in the media regarding Oakville Trafalgar High School. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate to our community that we are committed to establishing and maintaining a safe, caring, inclusive, equitable and welcoming learning and working environment for all students and staff.

As a school within the Halton District School Board (HDSB), Oakville Trafalgar High School recognizes the rights of students, staff, parents/guardians and community members to equitable treatment without discrimination based upon gender identity and gender expression. Gender identity and gender expression are protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code.

We strive to promote a positive learning environment in schools consistent with the values of the HDSB and to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students, staff and the community, regardless of race, age, ability, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, cultural observance, socioeconomic circumstances or body type/size.”

The school insists that it must treat everyone the same, however, it is not enforcing its dress code policy fairly and thus not maintaining its vow of “equitable treatment.”

The school district’s dress code policy prohibits clothing that “exposes or makes visible genitals and nipples.” Clearly, Lemieux’s outfit is not in compliance with the explicitly-stated dress code policy. Why should a teacher be allowed to blatantly violate the dress codes? Surely the school can enforce the dress code without being labeled ‘intolerant’?

Imagine if a biological female teacher wore this attire into the classroom, or if a student wore such a thing. With that logic, anyone could wear whatever they wanted to school and claim it was simply their form of “gender expression.”

The HDSB Chair Margo Shuttleworth told the Toronto Sun that they will be “creating a safety plan” to protect Lemieux’s security in anticipation of potential protests at the high school.

“This teacher is an extremely effective teacher,” insisted Shuttleworth. “All the kids really love being in the class.”

“The teacher is completely accepted and welcomed into the school community as far as the staff is concerned,” Shuttleworth added.

Now, the school board has refused to discuss the matter any further, reportedly even with parents, using the excuse that this is a “personnel matter.”

Maud Maron, a Conservative politician, wrote an article for ‘Human Events‘ in which she explained her belief that Lemieux is “turned on” by making the students uncomfortable with the large breasts and tight clothing.

Maron describes her anger when she saw the viral video and learned that the school’s faculty was supporting Lemieux’s appearance. She then goes on to describe a scarring moment from her youth when she was on a subway in NYC and saw an inappropriately-dressed man who was turned on by making her uncomfortable.

“After a few stops, I looked up and saw a man across from me wearing cutoff jean shorts. To my shock, I saw his penis poking out of his shorts. My first thought was the absurdly innocent “how embarrassing–someone should tell him!” But then I looked up and he caught my eyes. He was staring straight at me. And I realized it was no innocent mistake, no unzipped fly that one would want to be told about.

[…]

He was using me to indulge his fantasy even though he was not touching me or even speaking to me.

That is what the shop teacher in the super-sized prosthetic breasts is doing to the kids in his class. He is using them to indulge his sexual fantasies and fetishes. He is a predator and they are the prey. And in the case of students, they can’t even leave their classroom without repercussions.”

Maron expresses her disgust with the people who look the other way while this is happening, trying to pass it off as “normal.” She voices what all sane-minded people are thinking: that no student should be subjected to such a ridiculous, inappropriate environment that is supposed to be a safe learning environment.

As Maron puts it, “the cult of gender ideology is very dangerous for children precisely because sexual fetishes get to come into the public realm as ‘gender identity.'”
