The Ukrainian President Zelensky just reiterated with reporters that his call with President Trump last summer involved “no blackmail and that he just wanted to “establish relations” with President Trump.

Zelensky spoke to media on Thursday and said the transcript released by the White House is accurate.

He also made the point that he knew the U.S. had withheld $400 million in military aid, but it was never linked to President Trump’s concern that there should be an investigation into natural gas company Burisma’s ties to Hunter Biden: “There was no blackmail. They blocked this money, and nobody asked us for anything,”

Democrats claim that a whistleblower said there was a quid pro quo. President Trump has denied the claim by the whistleblower and released the transcript of the call with Ukrainian President Zelensky to prove his innocence.

Ironically, Fox News’ John Solomon reported on Tuesday that the Ukrainian government had already ordered a reopening of the probe of Burisma Holdings months before the two presidents spoke by phone.

The Unconstitutional Impeachment Effort by Democrats:

Fox News reports that the White House sent an eight-page letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Tuesday that read: “President Trump and his administration reject your baseless, unconstitutional efforts to overturn the democratic process. Your unprecedented actions have left the president with no choice.

“In order to fulfill his duties to the American people, the Constitution, the Executive Branch, and all future occupants of the Office of the Presidency, President Trump and his administration cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances.”

While the media tries to drive the narrative (see below) on what happened on the call between Ukrainian President Zelenskiy and President Trump, Zelenskiy set the record straight today during a press conference with President Trump:

President Trump met with the President of Ukraine who backed up the claim by Trump that the president did not pressure him to investigate Biden and his son:

Ukrainian Pres. Zelinsky says “nobody pushed me” to investigate Biden and his son.

He says the call with Trump was “a good phone call.”

“It was normal.”

“We spoke about many things.”

Several news outlets including Fox News were reporting on the “favor” line from the Ukraine transcript but did not include that the VERY NEXT SENTENCE about wanting an investigation into meddling in the 2016 election.

All of the news outlets below are misleading their viewers.

It’s right in the transcript but they omitted it.

CNN and then Fox News:

.This is all media-driven even though the President of Ukraine has repeatedly said there was nothing in the call that points to “blackmail.”
